Paris is Burning a Documentary about the Ball Room scene that African and Latino Gay and Transgender community

Paris is Burning was filmed in the 80s and you can imagine so many of them had to go thru. It's sad now that most of them are dead.One member in the documentary was actually murdered shortly after the documentary was filmed  and a Drag Queen who after she passed away they founded a dead body in her apartment. Really interesting and inspiring Documentary

It's based on the science fiction book "Expedition" by Wayne Barlowe, in my opinion it's a pretty cool take on what extraterrestrial life could look like and the CGI is really good.

Hello!

 

There are a bunch on interesting documentaries out there! I, personally love documentaries on ships, shipwrecks and ancient worlds. I especially love the one's that have very good scenery that can give a very good quality image on how stuff works or has worked.

 

If I had to suggest a documentary, I would suggest the new History channel series - "Mankind"

I've heard good things about Mankind. I should probably look into it when I get the time.

One of my favorite documentaries is called What the Bleep?!: Down the Rabbit Hole. It explores possible connections between quantum mechanics and spirituality.

Another favorite documentary of mine is Afterlife. It explores the fascinating phenomenon of near death experiences. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a video of it on youtube.
