You shouldn't feel guilty about it. I'm giving up a spot for my girlfriend, so I guess you could say I have extra motivation. Unless you're dating another one of the potential RPers, I think you're in the clear morally.

She never got around to posting, but I did convince @ to take my spot. I just thought I would tell youi sense I imagine she's asleep by now and thus won't be able to tell you herself for a while. 

 

I'll still be around though. I'll probably follow along with it just for kicks, and if you want any help or anything, just let me know.

Well thanks again I've made the changes now, and i'll be waiting patiently for this to kick off, sounds like its going to be good fun to be honest. Definitely something different from what i'm used to, so I look forward to it. 

I trust the RP will be on this forum yes? I only ask because I know some people roleplay on Skype and some on Facebook, and i've never been in, nor seen you roleplay yourself, so one can never be too sure and only a fool assumes they know.

Hey, guess what I found? Jabber's old RP sheet. 

 

 

Dexterity 3 +1 = 4

Strength 3 -1 = 2

Tough 3 = 3

Wisdom 3 +2 = 5

Willpower 3 +1 = 4

 

Fight: ~4

Hitpoints: ~2

 

 

Perks/Advantages:

Magic horn: Can cast magic. Levitate small objects, one Basic Spell once per day

 

Silvertongued: +1 to Wit rolls when conversing

A life of slippery sales and smooth words has left Jabbermouth with a talent for talking.

 

Attractive: +2 to Wit when dealing with members of the opposite sex or homosexuals

Sometimes words don't cut it - that's when Jabbermouth's looks kick in.

 

Way of the Scoundrel: (GM-giving ability) +1 to Wit when dealing with small-time crooks (poachers, pickpockets, thieves, etc.)

Remember that time I didn't rat you out to the Guard? Yeah, now you owe me.

 

Disadvantages:

Clumsy: GM may force player to reroll a single successful die roll once per session

Just because he talks a good game doesn't make him eloquent at walking.

 

Fear of Heights: -3 to all rolls while in the presence of heights

+2 to rolls when conversing with other tough ponies who'd have heard of you (adventurers, mercenaries, that type)

 +1 on rolls for orientation under dfficult circumstances

I seriously expected much better from you, but I guess you just didn't think this one through very well.

Well, I expect the participants to value the story above their character stealing the spotlight. The rules are really only there as a tool for me to structure certain passages.

If people want to cheat, let them cheat. It's a roleplay, not a game, there are no winners and no losers, they have nothing to gain by cheating and no one else loses out on anything. I'm happy for my characters to lose (Harmonic is being bludgeoned by Chrysalis as we speak), it only adds to the RP experience as i'm concerned. 

 

Edit: I'd also just like to say, "I seriously expected much better from you" Really makes it sound like he owes you something in some way. It's his RP, his ideas and his rules, what concern is it of yours how he performs ? You're not even participating in the RP...

I posted to give advice. If you don't like it, then deal with it. Silverwisp is a pretty respectable member of this community, and I think he's capable of taking criticism.

If I may, I have a question? 

When do we start with the die rolls? I'm guessing I shouldn't be rolling for wit to converse right now with the main plot givers?  

Also, i'm going to wait for someone else to post before I post myself again, to give everyone an even experience before we lose ourselves.
