movies/tv Fakest shows?

A lot of Americans like to watch supposedly reality television and I do too. Anyway my favorite shows( other than MLP ) are shows you have probably heard of( Cheaters and Jerry Springer ) Anyway I know they're fake and its incredibly obvious too. Because in the cheaters intro they show a guy flipping a guy over a car and a guy breaking a window with his foot. Also in Jerry Springer they handed a cup of water to one woman and told her not to throw it and she threw it anyway. I think most "reality television" is scripted or fake and that is for pretty much every reality show out there. Anyway do you guys know any other examples of fake scenes in shows if you do post it below.

I think survivor is kind of scripted. They have to have trailers or something. Have you ever seen that their hair or sometimes their faces looks good?

Keeping up with the Kardashians. Maybe not all of it is fake, but I bet they do re-takes when a line is not said well, or they script some parts.

A lot of stuff on Tru TV is pretty fake.... But I think one of the shows that is supposedly "real" but very scripted is that repo show "Lizard Lick Towing"

It's just the funniest stuff I've ever seen. 

 

I think the reason a lot of stuff is scripted is because the true reality is that it would just be boring. All of these "living with" or "house of" stuff would be too boring if they didn't throw some forced comedy in to it.

I'd probably have to say Auction Hunters/Storage Wars. As well as Pawn Stars,Hardcore Pawn. Also American and Canadian pickers...some of it just seems too scripted.

It almost feels like every single show of these types are scripted. Yeah and of course those who are supposed to no be scripted, they are most likely scripted too.

 

I don't have any examples but you know.. All those stuff seems too... Unreal

Have to agree about truTV, my stepdad watches it all the time and it couldn't be more fake. Like the time on one of the pawn shows when a man comes in with a duffel bag in which a man wearing nothing but a banana hammock has been stuffed into. They didn't call the cops or try to help the guy, he just ran off. 

 

Plus, my uncle visited one of those the televised pawn shops, they shoo tons of people out before they start filming and everyone that comes in has to be cleared. Which means no items come through they don't know about while the cameras are rolling.

I don't think that one is fake, so much as they use a lot of sneaky ass editing tricks. Like they emphasize something a person says with an audio clue, like a small bell or a little background music, then cut to someone looking shocked. That person may not have been reacting that way, but they edit it to make it seem like they have a rivalry now. 

 

Or when they go into the 'confession booth' thing where they recap what happened, the crew might poke them a little in the right direction to the get the reaction they want out of them by either rubbing something in that will make them cry or convince them it was screwed up.

Cops is fake, I don't watch it much but from what I've seen it's pretty obvious. Most of a police officers work is paper work and chasing after criminals dosen't happen that often. That's why when there is a high speed chase there are about 50 police cars chasing one guy because there all bored and what something to do.

I'd have to say the News. It can be scripted, and you'd be surprised how powerful a green screen can be. In fact, I believe there was a news article on Yahoo! a few weeks back on how a news reporter got caught faking a news report.

I was wondering if someone would bring this show up.

Yeah, it's obviously fake, but apparently "based on actual events" (which seems like a lot of events for one guy ).
