Okay, some of you have watched, read, or played something in The Walking Dead franchise. I wanted to know which of the following is your favorite: the comic, TV show, or the video game (Telltale.) Vote above, and put reasons below.

 

 

I'll have to go with the video game on this one. I like the characters more, the ability to choose dialogue in interesting, and really puts in you in the position of the characters. I find the video game story to be much better, and I like the music more. More interesting things happen in that game to me, and I actually care about the characters and their relationships with others. 

 

As for the show, it got boring to me after the first season, and as for the comic; I just don't really read too many comics (almost none.)

I'm going to have to agree with Blue Moon on this one. The characters in the game I like more and I also like how you can choose dialogue. The story in the game is also great. As for the show. I do watch it but i just find the game to be better. The comics, well i haven't read them.

I really like the video game version, but I really only get to play it when all my birds and mice and bunnies are busy. I like it because you get to choose what happens. It is really scary though...

Well the comic is good, but I don't really like reading and I honestly don't remember much about it. I'm not even sure if I read it all. Anyways, I would say the show simply because I prefer to watch tv-shows/movies over playing games.

The TV Shows is the best in my opinion, never really got stuck for the game so much really. I didn't play it for so long tho and i really should give it another try.

A while ago I would have chosen the TV show but for some reason I kind of lost interest in it. But I'm still quiet excited for the next game that's coming out soon. We're apparently going to know what happened to Kenny and Clementine so that's cool.

I go for the game. I admit, the ending made me cry. I saw it coming and it didn't soften the blow... may celestia watch over you Clemintine.

The comics had the better atmosphere, but it became boring fast.

The TV show had enjoyable characters, but it also became boring in much later seasons.

The game had everything, and it's still enjoyable, specially now, that you follow the life of a little girl. Even in the 1st season, Lee was and still is the best character.

Both the game and the show have their share of stupid characters, but I have to go with the game here. The ending of season 1 made me cry for hours. No joke. Granted I am a pretty sensitive and emotional fellow but still, it hit me incredibly hard. That alone wins it, despite some flaws. Plus, Lee is pretty neat.

 

The comics I have not read but of course I know they are great anyways, if the game is any indication. The show...I just lost interest in season 2. Some of the characters were infuriating.

I only watch the show atm, and I really like it. Sure the 2nd half of season 4 was a little lackluster compared to the rest of the show, but season 5 looks like it's gonna be amazing, can't wait.

I am very much interested in the game series as well though. I'll be sure to get to it eventually(don't have anything to play it on really atm).

This, for me, goes hands-down to the comics. Better atmosphere than the TV series, more brutal, with no holds on anything at all (I mean, seriously, look at Glenn's death). I prefer the writing in it as well, and I love reading anyways. So, comics for me!

I'm addicted to the show, but when the game came out, I REALLY enjoyed it, as much as the show.

 

But when Season Two happened, I fell in love. I stuck with them to the end, and I got each episode as soon as it came out! The ending to Season Two was worth it.

Alright, I have now read the entire comic up to this point, and my opinion has changed. I still think the show is the worst medium of the franchise, but I feel that the comic is a tad better than the game. It addresses much more topics, and there are a lot of interesting characters; more so than the game or show.

 

So yeah, comic for me.

I haven't read the comics but the TV show is a lot better than the game. I didn't play season 2 of the game but I didn't like the game all that much especially since you had to pay for each part separately. It took so long to pick up any steam that I quickly lost interest.
