Musician Needed - Intrumentals

I've been trying to finally put some of my music out there. My friend and I decided to start making some lyrics (and using some we've already written) and try and record them. We've already got a few ready to go, and have started recording the vocals, but we ran into a problem. Neither of us can play an instrument very well. I was wondering if anyone was willing to help us out with that. We haven't worked out the pieces yet, (what you'd have to play) so you'd have to be willing to collaborate on that. So, if anyone can play guitar, maybe someone who can play piano, I think that we'd be set for now. If you would like to help out and maybe don't play the requested instruments, go ahead and let us know what instrument you do play, and we might ask for some help later on. Does that sound okay?

What type of music do you plan on making? And what type of guitar would be best for you, acoustic or electric?

Have you considered using midi to help make some of the instrument tracks. I been getting better at midi drums and would love to come up with some drum tracks for you if need some. I'm still not that great yet, but that is why I would do it for you. Here is a remix I did that has some of my drums. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94AyrjJcSvg

Edit, I almost forgot, mixing is very important, I could do that for you too.

Broseph : The piece we're working on currently we were thinking could use some acoustic. Can you record with your equipment? If not, I'm sure we can figure something out. I'll ask my friend if she can send me the file of what we have so far. We're not exactly sure how the instrumentals should sound, so we're open to anything you can come up with.

Akalink : My friend actually has her heart set on mixing it, maybe the drums though. I don't know, I'll have to get back to her. Like I said, we haven't gotten the instrumental sound set yet, so it could go in a variety of directions. I'll see if I can get a copy of the best take we did, and maybe figure out a way to put it up online.

Well, you could always try the sound-editing programs, like FL Studio. They may not sound as good as a real guitar, but they make-do, specially if you invest in good quality plugins.

I won't be a complete brony until I get a Thunderlane plushie and go to a convention.

I currently don't have the equipment to record acoustic, however I have been working on it..

The closest thing to acoustic I can do right now is just really clean electric guitar, but I don't plan on sticking with that for long :P

I can do bass, keys, or banjo (you will definitely need a banjo, it is extremely important). I would suggest using a music program similar to FL (or a simpler - and less expensive - program that does basically the same thing) to write the instrument parts and then send them to whoever is playing them. Also if you send me some lyrics I can do some harmonies.

Your very own Victorian-styling, airship-flying, super-sizing, brass-lining, quick-drying, detoxifying, low-pricing, newbie-knifing, over-driving, sometimes-hiding, unsurprising, ninja-fighting, perfect-timing, always-smiling, never-lying, best at writing, also rhyming automaton!

I would suggest reaper. Its similar enough to other swquencers that are industry standard (ie pro tools). FL studio is really built for more electronic stuff. Reaper also has a full two month trial.

I could also do some piano stuff. I'm not the best at the instrument, but I can improvise rhythm tracks pretty well (which is what you need).

I'm down for collaboration if you guys can get some good, clean recordings. I haven't had a chance to break out the acoustic in a while, so it could be fun!

Here's an acoustic/orchestral track I did to make use of Corralfur's "Becoming Popular" take that didn't quite mesh with the metal cover I was working on.

You're missing an S in your thread title, btw. ;)

I'm a hardcore musician. My youtube and my soundcloud say it all. Not to mention I plan on taking music classes soon so I'll be even better at song composition than I already am. I'm practically on everyday so you can hit me up whenever to do so.

Here's a reference if you think i'm worthy enough to work with you guys xD
