Do you know/are friends with your neighbors?

Yes. Our neighbor to the right side of our house, we know them very well. Even though their dogs always bark at us when we're close to their fence, we still like them.

I don't befriend or even acknowledge my neighbors. It's really for the best. I'm not a warm and fuzzy personaliy so I avoid human contact as a general rule. Better for them, better for me.

I highly encourage being sociable with those in your neighborhood (if you feel that is right for you). It's a little community around you and there are all sorts of potential friends you might make. I love people. And it doesn't have to mean you get too close or invasive. Can still have your privacy while knowing your community a little.

I have next door neighbors who are SpongeBob fans like me. Sometimes they come over to my pool to go swimming.

Honestly, the concept of being friends with your neighbors is kind of foreign to me. I've rarely so much as spoken to any of the ones I have now and never did with the ones I had as a kid. It almost feels kinda strange to imagine just casually hanging out with them lol.

I moved from my hometown in September 2022. I never talked to them here and I don't know their names. But in my hometown, my family had good relations with all the neighbors and pleasant memories of them are imprinted in my memory. They were good people.

Nah. My current living situation isn't my permanent one, and I don't plan to remain even in this part of the state, so it wouldn't make much sense to get to know people here. Also, where I currently live in the state the people here tend to not share my morals and values. Plus they smoke in the shared restrooms... Not very nice or considerate people. Oh well, still much better to be in this state than my former state where all areas of it were like this.
