@, Selune wonders for a moment waiting. At that time she notices that amongst the line formed another pony is waiting. The lion-like mane of the newcomer stallion with the blue coat reminds Selune much of her fillyhood.

"I would like some body armor, no helmet is needed. Preferably dark blue color." 

She aproaches closely. A name arrises from her memory the name of a dear friend she was forced to part with when she left.

"T-Terra? Terra Lionmane? Is that really you?" She says opening widely her eyes as she goes in front of him and sees his face.

"Yes that's me and you... wait... Selune? What the hell are you doing here?" He says giggling as they hug after the initial surprise.

"I was invited by a blue unicorn from Princess Celestia to help solve out this mess."

"Wait that Karma guy with the cloak? Me too... I got a letter when i was in the local police and was re-directed here."

"Good to see you're in one piece... that headplate still standing strong?"

"Yeap... you gonna watch my back?"

"Only if you do the same."

Following Selune gives their notes of what they require. In the note there is a request for some magical crystals and a lightweight robe with lots of pockets. Getting out the line they both join the rest of those waiting, attempting to mingle with the rest until the process is over.

Colt went back to his calm state the shattering of the tartarus seal was just a crisis by itself thankfully they were still able to stop it. He relaxed back to listen to Karma and the Princess to then follow as instructed.

The briefing form the princess ended and as they walked behind Karma Emi whispered to her brother "What the hay was that? " her eyes were fixed in his and a expression of surprise and doubt was all over the mare's face. "Suddenly raising your voice to the princess, were you out of your mind..." the dragon shyly shook his head in response with a serious look in his eyes "So its that important uh?.... we this wont be a trot through the park then" she said knowing the meaning of the dragon's face. "No it wont"

 

"Alright all. If you don't have armor, weapons, supplies, whatever, now is the time to request it. One at a time, please, though."

 

"Interesting moving from one point to another wont be a problem... " the dragon thought while looking at the room and the magical devices..."yet this could be a problem" his mind develop some scenarios as he listened to Karma. Colt bowed down to whisper something to Emi's ear. Right after that the white pegasus rushed to Kharma "Sir, is there a way we could keep in contact with each other, I mean between us and with you here at the castle. Also i would like to take a complete first aid Kit bandages and burns ointment please."

 

As this happened the Colt walk to the back of the room, for the first time since entering the castle he stood on his two legs placing his claws on his back resting it against the wall. He stood there watching everypony his eyes bellow his hood looked like shining he was worried about this ponies thinking if they were up to this challenge

Karma nodded as he wrote all of this stuff down. "Alright... here we go." He took some measurements of everyone who requested armor, writing them down, and nodded and started to walk towards the door.

 

 

 

"Sir, is there a way we could keep in contact with each other, I mean between us and with you here at the castle."

 

He looked at Emi thoughtfully. "Indeed there is, Ms. Miracle. There is, for one, this portal, that works both ways. And, secondly, Moon Crypt has access to a enchanted mirror that allows me and him to talk, and for me to relay information to you all."

 

He shrugged. "Go ahead and socialize for a bit, get to know each other more, and I will be right back." He walked through a large pair of double doors and entered deeper into the facility.

'Oh my, I wonder who I should talk to...' Chivalry thought to himself. 'The dragon seemed to have calmed down a bit, so he's probably approachable... I guess I could probably talk to Emi a little more. There are those two, Selune and Terra. I didn't really get the chance to meet Rock. For some reason, Blaze interests me. There's also Iron Wing and Blazing. And that new one, Blitz i think her name was? Or I can just keep to my self and maybe someone will approach me... Hmm, decisions, decisions.' Chivalry was deep in thought.

Blazing jumped wild circles around Celestia, too excited to behave ladylike. "Oh, oh! Do you have air-combat weaponry such as mechanical automated dart-guns? I saw a mere construction plan last year on a mechanics convention. These look like saddlebags, only that the gun shaft looks forward so i can target everything in front of me." she babbled after several ponies had made their weapon choice. Before waiting for an answer, she also had grabbed a tail-whip, an iron whip that was mounted and moved by the tail. The long end could be wrapped around her chest so that it wouldn´t hinder her. She knew this wouldn´t be good like a sword, but this was the only weapon she could handle. Meanwhile she was looking for these dart guns because she already thought that several demons probably could fly. She would be the first dogfight pony!

 

 

Iron Wing just took some supplies since she had already every equipment and weapon she could wish for. Also she didn´t need seperate swords, since she had her wing blades, swords that were constructed and forged extra for her armor. "Thanks, but i have everything i need. Am am heavily armed and armored..." she just said and looked into the direction of the dragon. On her opinion these creatures were demons on their own, evil with the instinct to destroy. She knew that this one probably was chosen because he was a good one, but... she had fought so many beasts, monsters and creatures like him in the past, it was difficult to see it any other way. She snorted heavily as she watched him, already thoughts in her mind how to defeat him if he would turn evil.

"Hey guys... say hello to my old friend Terra Lionmane. Terra this is Rock she says pointing at the Pegasus and this..." She looks at the unicorn.

"Oh i'm sorry... i haven't gotten to know everyone here yet."

Well we should... it's better to know who we are fighting with beforehoof. Helps build comradery because you know... friendship is a vital part of the fight. Well guys... nice to meet you." He extends his hoof offering a hoofshake for those who want.

Rock responds by shaking Terra's hoof firmly. His father told him that a true gentlecolt always gives a strong hoofshake. He admitted that it was a silly quirk of his dad, but Rock finds himself acting upon it nonetheless.

"They look like a nice group" the dragon thought while looking the group from the end of the room. While his sight toured the room watching the ponies he noticed the blue-gray unicorn looking to his way, he was the one that said hi before the briefing "Chivalry" he remembered the pony name. The dragon thought for a second to say hi, at least raise his paw to make a friendly wave but at the same moment he was about to do it he also felt the stare from the knight over him.

 

For a moment Colt stared into the eyes of Iron Wing it was short lived, not a second after he realized the "intentions" engraved on the mare's eyes and Colt looked away to face the floor hiding his face behind his hood. He knew that kind of eyes, that stare he has always see it in the ponies that called him monster or beast the dragon turned away giving away the ideas of interacting with ponies.

 

 

On the other side of the room the alabaster pegasus was listening to the small that were starting to build it would be a good idea to know them and to see how she would be able to help them.

"Sorry miss Earth Miracle for the short break on the conversation. I am Selune Darkeye." She then looked with a persistent stare at Terra. "And this guy right here is Terra Lionmane. Say hello to the lady." she saying bumping him with the side of her hoof.

Feeling a little bit embarrassed Terra blushed. "Right... where are my manners?" he bowed before her a bit wanting to equilize his "Rudeness" with this kind move.

"Terra Lionheart at your service mam."

Emi gave a little gait back as she feelt a little awkward about the greeting of the fiery earth pony. The introduction from his partner helped with this though.

"Oh please drop the formalities there is no need for such" the rose eyed pegasus said to Selune  with a kind voice "Just call me just Emi, after all my full name its a little too long" her eyes traveled just to show she didnt gave much importance to the protocol.

"For the most part i study magic of the "eyes". Most of my spells revolve around Illusionism, a sector of magic meant to help you to optically "lose" things in general. I also know Divination spells, that is a sector of magic that does the reverse of illusionism. Instead of helping you optically "lose" things it help you find them."

"Fanfcy spells and very usefull i am sure, but in the end you need some brute force too. Remember the saying "Strong mind in Strong Body"? Thats what i seek to be... You will see me in the frontlines protecting my friends, because thats what a true knight does. His heart blazes with passion for justice, his mouth speaks only truth, his eyes watch out over the innocent, and all togother fight against all evil."

Karma grunted, coming back laden down with goods. "Well, here they are..." He handed a standard medpack to Emi, A large box FULL of medical supplies, from morphine to bandages, as well as several doses of various medicine went to Rock. He carefully handed a box full of various pyrotechnic materials to Blaze, and some light armor and daggers to Blitz. Next, Karma nodded a pair of mid-sized knight blades to Chivalry, a saddle with the said spring-propelled dart saddle, and, finally, a suit of dark blue leather armor to Selune.

 

"There. And now, let the games begin."

 

He shot a beam of magic into the crystal-lined socket, which conducted along the frames and created a portal of blue energy. "And... there you go." He stuck his head through it and took it out, smiling. "Alright, it's all set."

As you enter into the portal, you see a- rather empty- room with one changeling sitting in it, wearing a dark blue cloak with an eyepatch over one eye. His smile is somewhat smug, as he silently watches you all file through the portal. When everyone had entered through, he grinned. "Alight, then... hello, everypony. May I get to hear everypony's names before we begin?"

The Jester of Death complained as he paced around the Manehattan Inquisition base. White Rose and Shadow Seer sat nearby, watching him silently. Shadow Seer looked thoughtful while White Rose had a small smile on her face. "Well, what did you expect?" She said. "Them handing out fruit baskets adorned with Soul Gems?"

 

"No need to be sarcastic. It's just that I never get enough time to properly prune my banana trees before I have to go hurling off on another adventure."

 

Shadow Seer looked at The Jester. "You have a banana grove in the Hall of Skulls?" she asked, somewhat disapprovingly.

 

"Well, where else do I get them? It is a rare fruit, since everyone is obsessed with apples and no one else grows them. Besides, they are healthy and you have no control over what I do in the Hall of Skulls. It gets tiring killing mere dummies with high-powered energy blasts after a few minutes, and it wastes my armor's energy."

 

Shadow Seer sighed and shook her head, still frowning.

She had been good at masking things and illusionism but shapeshifting was foreign to her and she hoped that she could learn something about it from him.

Chivalry calmly walks through the portal that Karma made. He see's a changeling and suddenly his face turns into a frightened look, his eyes widen, and as he stares at the changeling, memories of his kingdom come rushing through his mind. Without thinking he starts to panic and draws his original knights blade out of its holster and charges towards the changeling. "DIE YOU BASTARD!" Chivalry looks as if he is intending to kill him.

Moon Crypt's unpatched eye widened, and then narrowed. He sidestepped Chivalry Knight and unsheathed a dagger, standing at a ready position. "I mean you no harm. I am sorry if the rest of my race have been insensitive warts to you in the past, but let me assure you that I am separate from them."

 

Just then, what appeared to be a giant in a full suit of plate armor, and a mask that resembles a skull, he said in a grinding voice, "Is there a problem?" He turned to glare at everyone in the room, including Moon Crypt. "Ah... I see what's wrong now." He chuckled and walked over to Moon Crypt. "Hey, Inquisitor? Where did you lose that eye?"

 

"You should know, you were there! Remember? That prison thing, that pony named Vaas?"

 

He nodded at Chivalry Knight. "Eeyup, he's Lord Inquisitor Moon Crypt all right."

Chivalry's mind was disoriented, he couldn't think properly. All he could think about were his family, his friends, his fellow knights, and his kingdom. When he missed his attack he heard someone else walk into the room that they were in. Chivalry was frozen in place, he didn't know what to do next. Everything that the Jester of Death was saying flew through one ear right out the other. He didn't care about anything else, all he cared about was avenging everyone. Chivalry started to get dizzy in his head, everything around him looked like it was spinning. He started rocking his body side to side, stepping to keep his balance. Chivalry's sword dropped onto the ground, and with that, so did Chivalry. "I... will never... forgive you..." Right after Chivalry said that, his horn sparked a bright light for a second. Chivalry's pupils were gone leaving only a white surface on his eyes. He was still breathing, however it looked as if he had fainted. His sword laying on the ground with Chivalry, his eyes started to close automatically.
