Personality: He's a tad reserved, and quiet. He usually listens/observes more than he speaks.

 

Backstory: He was born in Goldenrod City. He receieved his first pokemon Eevee at a fairly young age. The two of them have been together ever since. Yasushi was never very particularly competetive, but he still always gives it his best shot.

Your umbreon got hit by hypnosis, but it wasn't working because it was scared? Are you kidding me? I could say that none of the bites were affecting Watson because of the adrenaline. Same thing right? I've let you hit Watson twice now, and you seem to be dodging all the attacks. I know this would happen too. I knew that whoever I had to face would be unfair and not want to get kicked out of the first round. I might as well forfeit. Sorry if that came off as rude, it's just a little annoying.

Dude, we've had all of, like, 3 posts and you're trying to hit me with a knock out. That's like saying to me, "Thanks for showing up. Now if you'll just let me kick you in the nuts, I'll declare myself victor, and we can call it a day. You;ve got two other moves. And to be fair, you dodged most of my moves too. Hypnosis is imfamous in my book for never working, ever, for me. I've never even heard of the other move you're using. In the movies, was any trainer battle ever decided in 10 seconds? I'll play fair, promise.

I haven't dodged most of your moves. I think I've dodged one, maybe two so far. Focus Blast does exist, it's a fighting type move. The other two moves Umbreon resists, which is why I'm avoiding them for now. I'm not trying to hit you with a knock out move, I'm just trying to use a move that will do damage. I let Umbreon hit Gengar with a Bite and a Shadow Ball, two super effective moves. You don't see me accusing you of trying to end it off fast.

I don't remember hitting you with a bite.

 

The move you're using is taxing (5 pp) and only has a base 70% chance of hitting Shadow. I looked it up.

 

Last I checked, Shadow Ball was a ghost-type move. It's confusing, I know, because it says shadow, but I very much so believe it isn't dark-type.

 

Gengar should be about even HP-wise with Shadow.
