Yeah, I'm alive...

 

Typhoon damage is pretty severe. There were many downed trees, power lines, ripped off roofs, and other usual typhoon damages in my area. At the airport, the're not one but two jets that got blown across the airport due to the intense winds, one of them hitting an airbridge at one of the terminals. A wall also collapsed in one of Manila's popular shopping malls due to the winds.

 

Unfortunately, 55 have died from typhoon 'Rammasun' or what we call here 'Glenda'. A lot of provinces that got affected still don't have electricity,

communication, or even water.

 

Though not as damaging as the near-apocalyptic typhoon that hit Visayas last November, this is still one of the worst typhoons to hit here, especially in Manila.

 

Power is already back 3 days after the storm, but still no phone, internet or water. (I'm using my mobile internet to use the internet, which unfortunately has a data limit. )

@Game: I live in the Bacoor City in the province of Cavite, but I live, just a few kilometers near the borders of Muntinlupa and Las Pinas City, which are part of Metro Manila, so I'm technically in Manila.

 

And one bonus to the death toll, three Pinoys were aboard the Malaysian Airlines that got shot down. They're a mother and her two kids. Condolences to the family of those, who were also probably hit hard by the typhoon, and of course, the families of the 295 aboard.

 

What a year for Malaysia Airlines. First was MH370 and now MH17. Both were lost within a year. I guess they'll lose a lot of riders due to those incidents.
