 I'm in that stage right now with Nuclear Throne. Usually I can at least get to the game's 4th area, but now I'm repeatedly dying in like the first two for no real reason other than I seem to have forgotten how to play. In the span of only a few hours.

The thing is that I get so into the game, that I get really surprised when they interrupt me, and then die.

 

 Which is really bad with the games I play.
