 They started implementing the new seeding system for things like daily challenges, they're also playing around with the boss spawning and the secret level a bit to see how they want it to work, so now the boss can be activated on any level, along with the secret area.

 

 Other than that they did some bugfixes, changed Melting's appearance, and I've heard Plant has a new B-skin but I haven't seen it.

Nuclear Throne. It's a twin-stick shooter roguelite game on steam.

 

 They've said the current way to access it is just a placeholder until they figure out exactly what they want to do with it. It's likely it'll make more sense once it's finished.
