im trying to sit up back strate but i dont think thats working its like trapped gas or something

Try jumping up and down and seeing if that hurts, if it does, and it's not gone tomorrow, I'd strongly suggest going to the doctor.

(Based on what I was told by a nurse that I know when I pulled a stomach muscle)

"It looks like a bunch of highlighters threw up!"

-snip-

Can't believe this game's already 11 years old now. :o

Β

Dude...I have the original Burnout on GameCube :pinkie:

Β

The funny thing is that the very first screen asks this guy if he wants 50 or 60 hertz, which means consoles didn't always run at 30 fps.Β

Β

I do remember that the PS2 could run at 60 fps :pinkie:

Speaking of GameCube, I really want to play some Wind Waker :D

Β

Best game.Β

tfw Drake of the 99 Dragons is cel-shaded :eww:

Β

tfw The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is also cel-shaded. :squee:

Β

That game was so dang beautiful. I don't care what anyone says. Wind Waker was the prettiest Zelda game I've ever seen. It's kind of a shame this game will only ever run in SD unless I play on my PC, but I'm so much of a purist that I'm going to want to play it on my Wii or GameCube :)

I could binge on some Zelda this weekend.Β

Like...for real guys.Β

Hmm, haven't played the first two Burnout games yet.

Maybe I should. :maud:

Yeah, don't understand why they made a step down in frame rate but a step up in resolution in the next two gens. Heck, IINM, even the PS1, which is ancient as all ballz ever, had more games running at native 60FPS than the number of games in the "next-gen" consoles combined, so not sure.

At least PC is here to stay... :maud:

Β

I don't think the GameCube was capable of 60 FPS. At least it had progressive scan

Β

Oh, Nintendo. What happened to you, my friends? It's like they just got lax after the SuperNintendo and never really quite got it together. I mean, the NES is believed to have single-handedly saved the video games market. The SNES was far more capable than the Genesis. The N64 was great by all means, but it should easily have been beat out by the Dreamcast. If only Sega knew what they were doing (Buy a Sega CD! No, wait! Actually, buy a Sega 32X! Actually, what you really want is a Sega Saturn!), they would have had more developers on their console and would have beaten Sony and Nintendo handily. Instead, I'd say the 5th generation was a neck-and-neck battle between Sony and Nintendo. The 6th generation was easily Sony. The PS2 was the complete package of its day. And we all know the Xbox 360 won the 7th generation though Sony caught back up toward the end. It was just too little too late.Β

Β

For Nintendo's sake, I really hope Nintendo NX is everything the Wii U wasn't. It also needs a better name. I swear it better not be Nintendo Wii U2

Β

Β

I'm not even sure there will be a 9th generation outside of Nintendo NX

Β

Β

At least PC is here to stay...

Β

Oh, Glorious PC.

Β

The platform that was there in the beginning.

Β

The platform that has seen it all from the Magnavox Odyssey to the PlayStation 4.

Β

And the platform that will continue to Nintendo NX and beyond.

Β

It was the first platform. It is the final platform. PC is ultimate. :maud:Β

not portable.

Β

What you could do is find a way to put straps on your desktop so you can wear it on your back. Be sure to take a big ass battery pack with you and stuff it in your fanny pack. Next, bolt a monitor down to a desk that you have attached brackets to so that you can wear the desk around your waist. This will keep it from rocking around and falling off the desk as you walk or stand with your portable gaming desktop. You're also going to want to bolt down some speakers to the desk though this is optional if you use headphones.Β

Β

Now you're gaming with power on the go. :derp:

Β

Or, you know, you could also get one of these... :comeatus:

Β

Β

Though the GPU's external, and you'll need a dedicated monitor to utilize that GPU, so that wouldn't exactly work on the go... :o

I would argue that that's kind of stupid if it wasn't actually kind of cool.Β

Β

It's not like he's using extremely high end parts in that. And cooling seems to be taken care of pretty well. His graphics card (assuming it doesn't have integrated graphics) is passively cooled so it's not like that thing's just emitting a ton of heat.Β

Anyway, I'm headed to bed now. Goodnight guys.Β
