I was alright at it, wasn't a fan though lol. Algebra just made my head hurt too much xD I prefer lessons like History and English.

Eh, we're all different :P I've always been a history nut tbh, no matter what time period. Being sorta part German, I've been tempted to learn a bit of German before... Then realised how hard it will be

I always think English must a little difficult to learn to non-native speakers... Our language is so fcked up at times lol. Although, German and English are somewhat similar at times, I guess learning German would be easier than Russian, maybe :P

The hardest thing about learning English, if you're not a native speaker, is mainly the non literal language that we use. The idioms, expressions and so on.

I am fine with every subject that my school happens to throw at me. Though, Fillypino remains to be a real bitch for me to learn despite being born and raised here. :derp:

My mom did self-taught German herself, and I think she still does today. I think I used to join with her in some of her sessions, but that was a LOOONG time ago, and not sure if I could still remember one of those without having to resort to dem Google Translates. Let's see. :derp:

"Guten tag", "guten natch", "iche liebe diche".

That's it. :muffins:

The other thing difficult about the English language is just the sheer number of words we have. Often, English has triple the word count of any other language because our verb tenses differ, as well has having several words to describe or name something when said other languages only have one.

Plus don't forget about homophones... The amount of words we use that have the exact same sound yet are spelled differently and mean something different is pretty crazy... There/Their/They're or Hare/Hair.
