I believe that a significant other should come first. I mean, this is the person you could potentially spend the rest of your life with. But friends should also be an important part of a persons life. The way I see it it's like this, If you ate pasta for every meal for 3 years would you still love pasta by the end of it? Nope, at least I wouldn't. That's what friends are for IMO, for variety. If your friends seriously abandon you then they're not really your friends, a friend should stick with you forever because everyone needs friends for company when others just won't do.

 

This is just my opinion though.

Yeah, and I believe you have a lot of those here Base. Friends who will stick by your side. Rising, Filly, Raritas, Space Woona, The Snapp and someone else I may be forgetting, even me even though I have not really been here and am really distant from this place.

 It's like...I get this image of me on my death bed. And nobody is there for me, because all my friends have a romantic partner that needs them more, and I'm alone because I'm just a friend...

I know that feeling, very well. I feel that everyday here. I will never really be good friends here with anyone, you, Rising, anyone, because you are already good friends with each other. However, I realize that it is enough to be friends at least. 

 

I am sure they will be there for you in your time of need. I am sure their loved ones would also support it, and if they did not, I am sure they would still come because they knew you needed them.

There's so many people who think the same way about this that you do. Perhaps these are the type of people you can have at your death bed. Get a best friend who you can count on sticking with you.

You're trying to make me feel better right now, you've posted here plenty of times, you're a good friend whether you think it or not.

 

I have a tough time connecting with people Snapp. I'd count everyone here as friends. I've talked about this before on occasion with Rising and another person or two and it's always been assured they'll stick with me as best as they can even with a relationship. But if that doesn't happen I'll have a really hard time managing to find new friends, and I don't think I'd get over losing my current close friends...

Feeling I'm all too familiar with Base, I also have trouble connecting with people. Being included in the Mane 9 was like a Godsend because I finally made some good friends. Look where it is now though. I only really keep in contact with Choco, Sparkles and Wolfie. And like you said, I've had a really hard time connecting with the new CTAM'ers.

 

 

But notice how I said I still keep in contact with Choco, Sparkles and Wolfie. Some friends stick around for a while.
