Trust me, I know the feeling. I had an abusive father who used to beat the crap out of me and make me feel like garbage. My brother and I had a rough relationship when we were younger because he always thought he was better than me and it showed in everything he did. But man, you can't let that hold you back. You'll never go anywhere in life but down if you keep doing that to yourself. You have to take a step back and look in the mirror and think about the good things about you. Puck obviously likes you. So there's got to be something good about you. There was a time in my life where every time I messed something up, I was convinced that screwing things up was all I was good at. I was convinced I was stupid and fat and totally worthless. And you know what? I still struggle with it on a day-to-day basis. Sometimes I struggle to get out of bed because I don't know that I'm worth the life I've been given and the second chances I've been blessed to have bestowed upon me by God or the fates or chance occurrences or whatever. I really didn't want to get a new car because I didn't think that I was worth it...that, for some reason, I didn't deserve it. I just want you to know that you're not alone in that battle, my friend. I know it's not as easy as telling yourself you're worth better things. That you're good enough to have friends. You're good enough to go to college and get a good degree. You're good enough to live in a pretty nice neighborhood and drive a pretty nice car. But you've got to handle these things one step at a time. 

 

And guess what Jonas. You are good enough to have friends. Like I said before, if nobody is your friend, I guess I'm nobody. And it's a freaking pleasure to be your friend.
