 Also, a messed up dental procedure is part of what lost me a tooth, not to mention caused me tons of pain. Kinda hard to be fully trusting of dentists after that.

I hate people's reaction to these things too. I either get treated like a wimp for a fear I can't control, even if I manage to get through the damn thing, or people react like I'm a little kid, giving me all this "Praise", like the kind you'd give a 5 year old.
