Bleh, you know what I hate? When a game get's an expansion or DLC of some sort, but only the PC version get's it, and console versions don't get it.

But yeah. Let's face it, as long as it still exists, there are still many, many people who swear by consoles as their gaming platform. Not everyone may like the tweaking aspect of PC gaming and stuff.

There's a new expansion for Don't Starve coming out later, which I'm interested in playing. I own the PC version of the game, but I have the Vita version too, and I actually prefer playing it on that instead. Because of my paranoia about my Laptop overheating, and because I only have the first Expansion on the vita, and just cause it feels better on that platform for some reason.

 

 They don't have any plans for the console version of the expansion yet, which is fine. PC is the original platform, obviously they'd need to make it before porting. But if they don't make it for other consoles at all I'll be annoyed. Yeah, I could get both it and the other DLC on my laptop, but I want it on the Vita.

 

 Also, if my laptop broke I'd have to play the game on my Vita, but if I'm missing content permanently I'm not gonna want to play it, because that kind of thing is really, really annoying.

Most games I liked on the PC I got on Vita too later.

 

 Isaac, Don't Starve, Spelunky, both Hotline Miami games. Planning to get the vita versions of Super Meat Boy and Nuclear Throne too when they're available, as well as the Afterbirth DLC for Isaac on it. It's nice to have versions of those games that I can literally fit into my pocket. I'm fine with waiting extra for console releases. Afterbirth is coming October 31st to PC, and then in probably December for other platforms.

 

 I'm just not fond of one version of a game becoming obsolete next to another, because you're missing half the content. It'll sort of take away the fun if I feel like I'm just missing out.

But in all seriousness, to each his own. I never really saw the appeal in the Vita, to tell the truth. Mostly because I'm not huge on those smaller games that are better suited for less powerful hardware. I love big sprawling worlds with huge, branching stories where your decisions have the power to affect the ultimate outcome of it all.
