Well it depends.

If they keep hammering on you, trying to guilt trip you or something, then probably, yeah.

We all have our problems, some have it worse than others. I know people who try to "one-up" you in how bad their life is (I'm not sure what to call it.)

Like "Oh yeah you might've lost your mum, but my boyfriend broke up with me today. Wow why aren't you feeling bad for me?"

Those peeps you should probably avoid.

 

Now, the others, who either just have a sad "aura" that they can't do anything about, or just "lose" it every once in a while; Those you should stick with.

They're probably trying their best not to be bothersome, but it's beyond their control.

I know I tend to get very anti-social when things don't run smoothly, so it really sucks when my friends start to just kinda do stuff without me.

It's not really their fault, it's not really my fault, but it sucks for everyone.

But that's life, I guess ^^"

 

Either way, it isn't a "black and white" thing.

Was more talking about the second category, people who feel sad or lose it on occasion. I tend to do that a lot.

 

 People who try to make misery into some kind of game are frustrating. It's not a contest, you don't win anything by being worse off or better off for that matter.

 

I know I tend to get very anti-social when things don't run smoothly, so it really sucks when my friends start to just kinda do stuff without me.

 

I do this too when I get upset. Doesn't seem to help much but it's hard not to.
