Mixed day, daughter very quiet (turns out she's running a temperature). For 24hrs she wanted a Pterodactyl, so we went to the natural history museum but she didn't want to look at the dinosaurs, just visit the shop. Then trying to find Weetabix or Shreddies (Chex) for her and a trip out to the airport to visit the rental place and query whether we were fleeced back in Vegas for insurance and an upgrade ($50 per day "upgrade" when the different model was only +$30 total if I'd chosen it when booking it ...and this a.m. it was $40 cheaper).

Nice lady at SLC said that best option was to return car there and then and she immediately rehired it to me. Dropped price by half. (Still more than what it should/could have been - about the same as if we'd caught the internal flight and had the one way rental :/ )

My awesomeness is only second to my modesty B)
