Well most of my closest friends have been girls. I'm infamous for being a great friend to many girls. The problem I have is that I'm absolute garbage when it comes to kicking it up a notch. This girl, though. I'm not really friends with her. She's someone I went to a few training classes with at work, but because we work in different departments, I never see her. She's actually super nice and very pretty and I'd just like to get to know her a little better for now. I am conflicted, though, because I hate the feeling of seeing an attractive girl and thinking of the possibility of dating h because I always get myself hurt in those situations. 

 

I regret not asking her for her number, though. I'd love to get to know her. Maybe I'll bump into her again. I've worked here 7 months and only seen her twice outside of training. So I don't like my odds. All I want is to muster up the courage to ask her out for a cup of coffee or lunch. That's all. 

 

Too bad I suck at being social.

Confident? Hah! I haven't had much of any self-confidence as far as I can remember. I was either abused by my drugged out father at home or bullied at school. I try, though. I'm not confident, but I do try my best though it scares me to death and back. Anyway, I don't have any way of getting in touch with her except email. I feel like it'd be really really weird to send her an email asking her to hang out some time, but that's honestly the only means of communication I have with her besides bumping into her again. And again - been there 7 months. Only bumped into her twice. Odds aren't very good that I'll see her again though it's not impossible.

I try to be social because I love talking to people and listen to people talk about themselves. I really do. Social situations scare me to death, though. You have no idea. It's difficult to explain. I like being social because it keeps me from feeling alone though I don't because it scares me.

I love being alone but after some time, I have to get out and walk around the neighborhood and maybe say hi to a few people. I'm pretty good at shooting the shit with my coworkers. :comeatus:

 

I love my alone time. I just ask to have my weekends to be by myself. That's all I want. But I don't always get that.

I say I'm an introvert. My parents think I'm self-conscious. I'm both. I love to be around people, but only in limited quantities. And after so long, I need to be in my bubble for a day or two or I'll go nuts.
