Anyway this song helped me to feel at ease last night concerning me mum.

 

 

And you know what I've learned in the twenty-three years I've spent roaming this rock? Things happen. All kinds of things happen. Sometimes the most wonderful people enter your life. And sometimes they exit it in the worst ways. And if she really does have cancer, then all I can do is encourage her in what ways I can. All she has ever wanted for me is to succeed and not settle for second best. We always butted heads but as I get older I see how selfless she has been.

 

So you know what? I'm not gonna be sad about this. The way I feel will bear no consequence of the result. And besides she wouldn't want me being upset about it anyway.

 

We're going to hope that she goes in and it's nothing. And if it is, we just play the best cards we've all been dealt and hope for the best. A lot of people on her side of the family have had cancer and they're all still kicking. So we're going to do the best we can.
