Yeah, Youtube/Skype should slow the Internet down a bit.

Video streaming takes priority, as I've found the hard way due to my housemates using up the Internet.

I don't really notice any slow downs, even with multiple YT tabs opened at a time, and I think my other family members also do that at the same time. Also have Skype opened all times at the same time, and don't really notice any slow downs.

I suppose you may want to call up your ISP on what's the deal right there?

We already did yesterday. Our internet speed is at 45 Mbps download. It should be around 75. I haven't had any problems, but my mom watches Netflix/Hulu on the Wii downstair's and lately she's been getting freezing. They're sending a guy out to check the wiring and stuff on Monday, I guess.
