Kind of reminds me of this local "show", or whatever it is on TV called "AlDub". It's some stereotypical "love team" with a female protagonist plastered in make-up, and a guy with a Justin Bieber face, typical of Filipino soap operas. I have tried it (Thanks IRL friends ), it's extremely cringing to watch, the characters "communicate" cheesily with pop songs, like they think that's how real people communicate and crap.

 

And then virtually everything in my Facebook feed is about that "thing".

Moving on. 

 

So even if you didn't grow up during the height of its popularity, it's easy to forget just how much of an improvement the slim PS2 was over the original model.

 

 

 

 

The warranty is void on both of these.

 

 

It was vastly smaller than the original model. It was nearly silent in terms of the cooling solution. The disc drive made some noise but it was tolerable (my fat model sounds like a jet taking off). The disc drive was just more reliable if you didn't touch the laser. And the CPU had a slightly higher clock (295 MHz fat and 299 MHz for slim; the difference is negligible, but it's still there...maybe this wasn't a vast improvement lol). The only downside, really, is that the cooling fan is much smaller and the air spewing out the back of the slim model was significantly hotter during gameplay than the fat model. The launch model did do a much better job of cooling than the slim model.

Oh. I didn't look that closely. I still think a Pi would fit in a slim, though.
