I was always trying to go faster. I once topped off a mountain bike at 34 miles per hour (55 km/h). A mountain bike. Those things aren't built for speed. They're rugged and heavy. They're built for climbing and handling rough terrain. And I achieved 34 mph. 

 

I imagine if I had a lightweight racing bicycle I could have hit 45 mph (70 km/h), but that might just be wishful thinking.lol

It was always kinda funny riding that thing because I rode on the shoulder of the highway (funny how I got over the fear of being hit by a car after being confronted with my own death when I was really hit by a car) going so fast that cars would pass me going 65 miles an hour but they would appear to be going much slower than that lol

Anyway check out this golden nugget of information that I was given

David Smee, 7 years old, and his6 year old sister were left alone in their 27th floor hotel room by their parents as they went to the hotel's gaming room. Bored, the kids though it'd be fun to try to squish the "Ant looking things on the foot path below." Like I said, irresponsible kids with irresponsible parents.

 

Parents should know whether their kids are responsible enough to be left alone.... And they should be responsible enough to make their kids be responsible....

And if they were that old and still thought that the people were just "ant like things" they probably had some sort of mental condition which responsible parents should know about....
