Sole coughed and flipped through the air, before spreading his wings to slow to a stop. "Nice hit, didn't see that one coming at all. Man, I can't believe I've used my afterimage technique so many times already, it's beginning to wear me out." He said nonchalantly, stalling as he built chaos energy needed for his transformation. *need a few more moments to charge... Distraction.* he thought, before he created four clones and began to use afterimage around her rapidly "try and keep up!" They all said. There were seemingly dozens of soles, and the real one was indiscrnable from the rest. *as long as my energy is equally distributed through their bodies then she can't pinpoint the real me. They even smell the same down to the last detail.* he thought confidently.

It would appear he is no longer on the offensive. At least, for the moment. She began charging her energy. It wasn't long before she topped off; now all she was waiting for was his attack.

Sole almost had enough energy now, all he needed to do was release it to transform. "Are you ready for my next attack? Here it goes!" All of the clones said, before suddenly stopping in a circle around her. They all transformed at once into chaotic soul form "eat this!" They said, as they created a small barrier around her and jumped inside "kamikaze blast!" They said, before all the clones exploded at once... With pella in the middle. But the real sole was nowhere to be found.

"That should be fun, I'll think about and get back to you" Icy mentally sighed. She it seemed everyone had plans. even though this tournament was about killing it seemed to bring some ponies closer.

 

Nuclear smiled, her ears perking up happily. "Well, I really hope you'll say yes when this is over."

 

She shifted her body into a more comfortable position.

 

'It's funny...All us hanging out together....Me and Icy both got our butts kicked by Frost.'

 

She smiled to herself.

 

'Good thing that we don't hate each other...for the most part....'

"This fight is turning out to be supper exciting!" Said Topaz. "New moves, old moves and lots of exploding clones! How will it end? Your guess is as good as mine!"

 

Juri looked around confused. "Wait, here did Pella go? Is she out of their ring? Do I start a ten count?"

Pella screamed out, "Barrier burst!" (ABCD together) A sheild appeared around her and exploded outwards in all directions, knocking any living thing and all damage away from her. There goes that plan. The other plan is much simpler, now that I'm sure his conviction is strong. I hold no regrets. She turns to the ref and bows, turning into her wolf form. "I thank you for presiding over this spar. I find this being capable of being an Alpha, and thus capable of defending against this calamity. I must go; I have much more urgent matters to attend to than the egos and greed of the foolish stallions here." She precedes to walk out of the arena. A wall seemingly re-arranges it's self for her, and she walks of into the forest.

 

"Thank you, friend," mumbles a hooded mare in the audience."

But what kind of warrior winds all of his battles by disqualification?* he thought to himself.

Sole popped his head out of the ground where he'd been buried in hiding form the explosion "wait, where do you think your going pella?! Get your ass back here!" He said angrily, as he climbed out and glared at her as she left "hey, didn't you hear me? Don't pull a Cosmo on me dammit!" He said. *dammit, I wanted to win... But what kind of warrior winds all of his battles by disqualification?* he thought to himself.

Juri stared stupidly at the wall Pella had just exited through. "I don't even... What happened?" She looked around at the stadium and came to a decision. "Well, Pella is out of the ring so I guess I'll do a ten count! One... Two! ...Three!"

 

The audience started to boo angrily. "That was ridiculous! Where's the Damn despatched we were promised?"

 

"That's a two hundred and fifty million bit win." Rail stated to Mason. "Cheers to victory."

I wanted to win, but it's no fun when everyone I fight leaves halfway through." He said to himself, before looking up at juri "hey ref! If your done counting I'm going back to the lounge to see my wife." He said, as he began to leave the arena.

Frost's ear twitched when he heard his name get called to report to the arena floor. He looked at Nuclear and Icy. "As soon as the fights over...we eat!" he said in a loud royal sounding tone as he exited the room and walked out to the arena. When he arrived he grabbed his side and groaned. "Damn....burns still hurt like hell." he laughed to himself

crimson sighed as he heard his name being called to fight next, turning to whiplash with a grin, "well cutie, it looks like I'm up next, i'll see you after im done kicking Frosty's  ass...try not to worry too much, okay? see ya later!" said crimson before trotting off to the arena. once crimson walked into the ring, he noticed frosty waiting for him and grinned, "lets make this quick, I have a date waiting for me after this is all over" said crimson nonchalantly.

Frost grinned and nodded. "Your not the only one." he scoffed as he took off his cloak to reveal his beenie and the patches off burned fur around his neck as he cracked it. "As...quick...as...possible." he laughed charging his magic to create a transparent looking armor.

crimson grinned in anticipation and got into fighting position, "I hope your at least as good as Rune, because I feel like having a nice and challenging match...but somhow I doubt that, ive beaten ice elementals much more powerful than you before! so... do you expect to accomplish what they've failed to do? or get your ass kicked like so many before you? either way... your not leaving this fight unscathed!" said crimson before flaring up a massive aura of flames around himself, nearly touching frosty.

Whiplash nervously watched Crimson in the stands, watching him get ready to fight. "You got this, Crimson," she thought leaning into her seat. The Pegasus prayed the fight wouldn't become too bloody. Whiplash craned her neck, trying to see who would make the first move.

Frost shook his head with pure sarcasm. "Ohhhh. Scary, but your wrong. I'm no Ice elemental. I'm a jack of all trades baby!" he said as his eyes went pure white and his magic swirled around his body. He summoned a piece of the floor to come up as a stand for him to prop his forelegs. "So is this date of yours actually real?" he asked in a moching tone. "Or is it just a figment of your crazy imagination." he added making a coo coo gesture with his hoof as he turned to see Whiplash eyeing Crimson. He made a surprised smile and turned back to Crimson. "You....dog no way! You got the mare who beat the shit out of Stone.....fits your personality well....no offense sweet cheeks!" he yelled at Whiplash with a wink.

crimson chuckled at frosty's taunting, giving no mind and actually finding it amusing, at least until frosty winked at whiplash. crimson, in what seemed like an instant, unsheathed Helios and held the blade to frrosty's thgroat, glaring angrily at him. "if you even so much as smirk playfully at her again...i'll cut off your eyelids...and other assorted organs of great importance...got it?" asked crimson threateningly as his flames as his flames danced mere inches away from frosty's face.

Nuclear tried to keep her laughing under control as she watched Frost mock Crimson on the television screen.

 

"Well, are you Mister Sassy, Frost?" She remarked, gently clapping her hooves together in amusement.

 

"You can win it Frost! I know you can do it!" Nuclear cheered.

 

But her cheering was cut short, seeing how fast the joking as escalated to violence.

Whiplash felt a furious growl rise in her throat at Frost's words, but couldn't help but grin at Crimson. He truly did care about her. The Pegasus returned to Frosty, giving him a glare. It took all her power to not fly down and hit him in the face. Whiplash gritted her teeth.

Frost held back his laughter making his cheeks swell and a tear dribble down his muzzle. The pillar rose bringing him into the air. He rolled over and let out his laugh. "Oh-oh-oh this is rich." he laughed as he looked over at the camera pony. "Are you getting this? You getting this right." he said as he rolled back onto his stomach and looked at Crimson. "The infamous Crimson Grimm has FEELINGS for somepony." he said wiping away his tear and looked at Whiplash again. "You my dear friend are a lucky mare." he said shaking his hoof in her direction. "That's it let's get Crimson pissed enough to strike in blind rage....then hit'em hard." he thought

crimson growled angrily as he noticed frosty attempting to hold back from laughing, but before he could even cut frost, a pillar of earth launched frosty into the air, where he proceeded to laugh his flank off and mock him for dating whiplash. crimson gritted his teeth and tilted the brim of his hat over his eyes, "who cares...who cares that I've finally found a mare to feel love for!? just because im a monster, that doesn't mean I cant find love! im gonna shove an entire ocean liner up your plot! GAAHH!" yelled crimson before using Helios to slice the pillar in half, just as frosty fell, crimson roundhouse kicked him in the face...HARD.

Frost hit the pillar and let his back hoofs bend ready for a jump. He stayed stationary for a second to spit up some blood. "Like I said....lucky." he muttered as he pushed of the pillar causing it to crack and collapse behind him. His hoof flowed white as it connected with Crimsons face. With the few seconds they were in mid-air Frost leaned up to Crimsons ear. "So...why are YOU here exactly....can't be Whiplash you just met. So Crimson WHAT IS IT." he hissed as he pushed his hoof forward slamming Crimson into the wall leaving a crater before jumping back and dusted himself off. "Well?" he asked waiting for an awnser.

crimson grunted and coughed up some blood as frosty slammed him into the wall, not doing much damage, only succeeding in pissing him off. crimson slowly stood up and spat out some blood, glaring at frosty as he sheathed Helios, "lets just say whatever YOUR here for means absolutely nothing compared to what IM here for..." said crimson quietly before flitting behind frosty and elbow dropping him on the head, smashing it into the stadium floor, leaving a large web of cracks. crimson then jumped back and shot a fireball at him.

Frost wiped some blood from his nose before flipping over to see the fireball. He shot an Ice spell to cancel it out causing steam. "Thank...you...Icy!" he thought as he propelled himself through the steam and grabbing Crimson by the neck and gritted his teeth. "Please....enlighten me." he said as he flipped still holding on to Crimson, releasing him at the end of the flip and throwing him at the wall. A pillar manifested from the wall catching Crimson and propelling him back at Frost. When the pillar reached him he uppercutted Crimson in the stomach. "If It really IS that important." he spat

Whiplash swallowed hard. This match was beginning to get bloody, just as she hoped it wouldn't. I'm not watching another one of those massacres, she thought to herself. The mare gazed at the fight, hoping Crimson would simply win quickly and could continue to the final rounds.
