Whiplash suddenly heard her name cried out in the fight, and looked over at Sole and Crimson as he used his fiery whip on the griffin. The pegasus laughed, and couldn't help but feel honored about the new move, reserved specially with her name. "GO CRIMSON!" she shouted with a smile, cheering on the stallion.

Stone coughed "still....chest hurts...." And whiplash release her hug. Then she looked over at the tournament. "So....crimsons a new mate?" She said giggly. She thought it was cute. Specially when she knew crimson ever since she met sole. But she found crimson annoying.

Whiplash looked in concern at Stone's hurt chest, before grinning. "Yeah, he sure is. Crimson..fits my personality," she replied, chuckling. As the Pegasus watched the fight, she frowned. "Stinks that both of our boyfriends are fighting each other," she murmured.

As sole slammed into the ground he cursed "my turn!" He growled, as he grabbed the whip of fire that crimson was still holding. Before crimson could react, sole began to fling crimson into the ground violently, using the whip ironically, to swing him around like a ragdoll. As he slammed him repeatedly, he finally let go, sending him crashing into the wall of the arena. "I don't give a fuck what you want! I made an oath bitch!" He said adamantly.

crimson coughed as he slammed into the wall, knocking the wind out of him, "ouch...that hurt...ish..." said crimson before flitting infront of sole and elbow dropping him on the head, slamming his face into crimson's knee. crimson then hit sole in the face with a flaming roundhouse kick to his temple, sending him crashing into the far wall on the other end of the arena. "and I have an entire WORLD to save, so I'm not losing this fight!" said crimson evenly.

Sole stood up and wiped some blood off of his face "fuck you and your messiah complex! I'll save the planet after I've fulfilled my oath!" He growled with determination, as he flitted above crimson and fired dozens of chaos blasts at him in rapid succession. Each one of the blasts of magic had bone crushing force.

crimson cursed as the blasts barreled towards him in all directions, giving him no room to escape, "damn! its like every time I see him again he just gets faster...im barely matching him now and he's just in his base form...looks like I have no choice..." thought crimson as his body ignited in golden flames, "RAGESTAR" yelled crimson just as the energy attacks hit him, but were immediately by crimsons flames, "eat this! BURNING BURST!" yelled crimson before firing a massive blast of energy at sole.

Sole barely avoided the blast of fire and grinned at crimson "so you pull that out this early huh? And here I thought you weren't taking me seriously!" He joked, before using his afterimage technique to dissapear and reappear behind crimson "too bad I know ragestars weakness!" He said, as he kicked crimson in the side of the head full force.

As the smoke cleared a few of sole's feathers were singed, and he stood there with crimsons hoof in his face "you've... Got what now?" He asked sarcastically, as he grabbed crimsons hoof and slammed him into the wall of the arena. As he did, he fired a chaos beam at him from almost point blank. But the cost of meeting crimsons attack directly left burn marks on his face and talons, for now he ignored the pain as he fought.

Whiplash caught her breath as she saw Sole was still fighting and alive. "Dear Celestia, what is it gonna take to win this fight?" she muttered to herself. "C'mon, end it Crimson," she thought, watching the fight closely. Whiplash craned her neck, trying to get a better view.

Of course, it was little better than a mumble, so most of her words were lost to the wind.

Whiplash heard a slight and quiet mumble behind her, most of it inaudible. The wind pegasus took a small glance behind her, but didn't pay attention enough to see anything. As she watched the fight grow more brutal, she had flashbacks of her and Stone's gruesome fight. "I don't want it to end that way. This has to stop soon," she whispered sadly. Neither fighters looked ready to give.

crimson smirked as the chaos energy barreled towards him, not attempting to dodge it, "im disappointed in you sole, have you forgotten? im immune to energy attacks when in ragestar form! all your doing is feeding me energy, dumbass!" said crimson before absorbing sole's attack, he then teleported behind sole and slammed both of his forehooves into his head as hard as he could, smashing his head into the floor, leaving a small crater in the arena floor "just stay down sole...this is one fight I cant afford to lose..." mumbled crimson.

As he did he began to glow, before slashing by crimson with the sword. As he did he disappeared, and slashed him again, and again, and again... He was attacking so fast it looked as if there were dozens of soles around crimson. He slashed him one final time, before kicking him into the ground from the sky. "Just stay down... I can't afford to lose." He said quietly.

"No!" Whiplash gasped, as Crimson fell to the ground. She knew he was probably still alive, but the wounds would be nasty and painful. Whiplash angrily stomped the ground, not furious at Sole, but furious at the tournament. The Pegasus sadly peered into the arena, searching for Crimson.

Mason chuckled deeply, shaking his whole body with laughter. "So sad. They're both trying so hard. It's a shame they're fighting for nothing."

 

"Not quite." Rail commented before taking a pause to light his cigarette. "I never gamble without the risk of losing. Whoever wins this fight is clearly going to be a handful. Do not let your ego cloud your judgement."

crimson yelled in pain as sole's attack caused major damage to his body, it hurt even worse because he was in ragestar form. "damn...this hurts like hell...I think...im done...that sword of his was made of silver...I cant use my powers...im sorry equestrian...I just coudnt-" crimson stopped as he saw the despaired look on whiplash's face, "NO! what the hell am I doing?! I cant just give up now!! I...WILL...WIN!!!' yelled crimson as he fell, he was now mere feet from the ground, but before he could even touch the floor, he disappeared from the spot and reappeared a few feet away, the crowd all gasped in shock and amazement, crimson was somhow running around on thin air! after a few moments, crimson then flitted behind sole, "sorry sole...but I just cant afford to lose this...Rokuougan!" yelled crimson as he put both of his hooves against sole's back, hitting him with some sort of internal attack.

Sole coughed up blood as the hit connected, and almost blacked out as he dropped to the ground. "Dammit... No. I-I can't go down yet... One... More... Attack." He mumbled, as he stood shakily and held his sword up "alright crimson... I've got one last bit of energy left in me. This last attack will decide it!" He growled, as he charged at crimson, building all his energy for one final attack.

Stone watched the fight with eager eyes. She cheered on sole, "COME ON BABE YOU CAN DO IT" she shouted. The fight looked so interesting. But it also looked like things where going down hill fast. Sole and crimson where all wounded and bloody, it was all willpower at this point.

crimson grinned and unsheathed Helios, "fine by me, lets end this..." said crimson before charging at sole with Helios as he built up the last amount of power he could muster, "whoever wins this, Rail...you lose..." thought crimson before thrusting Helios forward as hard as he could with the last of his power.

Sole swung with all of his remaining power, striking Helios with full force. As the blades collided it created a large explosion that destroyed most of the arena. As the smoke cleared, the warriors could be seen standing with their back to one annother, and large wounds across the chest. "Huh... Does this mean I lose?" He said, as he stumbled, and braced himself on his sword. He was standing, but barely.

Frost jumped up from his chair when the two warriors collided. "Come on Crimson you INSANE BASTARD!" he yelled as the smoke cleared. "I didn't take that hit so you could go on to lose dammit!" he thought waiting to see who would fall. "Come on....come on!" he growled gritting his teeth.

A horn from under the hood flashed green, and a dome shield seemingly made of alternating hexagons that were translucent green appeared around the herself and the two ponies in front of her. Stupid, flashy idiots. Don't you realize there's more than just you in this arena? she thought as debris pinged and dinged off the shield.

Nuclear flinched at Frost's outburst but understood her friend's frustration.

 

"I would rather have Crimson win, to be honest..." the gray mare remarked, glancing over at Frost and patting his shoulder gently with her hoof as a calming gesture.

 

Nuclear smiled at him. "No matter who wins though. At least everyone tried their best right?"
