Beats my stickmen, you'll get there buddy. The Cutie Mark is spot-on, funnily enough! I'd add some more flesh to poor lil' Octavia, it looks like she hasn't eaten in days! But hell, how dare i even criticise someone when even my stickmen look horrible?

 

Is there any reason WHY Octavia would do this? Did they steal her music sheet or something? I'd think Octavia is more of the shy-type.

Not just holding a cello, but playing it!  I guess it's not just unicorns that wield magic.

All I know is that the stick thing is made with horse hairs

 

Anywho, I think Octavia may also be double jointed, but who knows.

I like your style. It's interesting to see a pony drawn in such a unique style. I also find it humorous to see Octavia holding a katana sword for whatever reason it is.

I like it more than your Rarity Catwoman drawing actually, looks really good to me. Something about Octavia holding a sword just seems really awesome to me for some reason I guess, nice job.

It's called a bow, and is made from wood and nominally horse-hair. There's one episode of the Vinyl Scratch Tapes (a radio-play staring Octavia and Vinyl), where Vinyl gives Octavia a Hearths Warming Eve gift a new bow. Made with Celestia's tail hair.

 

It's a good series, I recommend looking it up on YouTube. No animation, and the way it's presented... animation would actually not work for it.

 

Okay, now I've got enough characters down to be able to post, good job Citrus. The face is great, as always.

I like the style you used. It looks awesome XD I think you should enter it. I really like the facial expression. To be honest, I think that's something Pinkie would do, if somebody stole a cake, rather than Octavia. But that's just my personal opinion.

Well yes, it might not be up to the usual CITRUS STANDARD™ , but I wouldn't say it's bad at all.

 

I guess her bowtie doesn't really go with your art style.

The intention is that her legs are kind of tilted inward (like a human with his knees pointing inwards).

 

The vectorization of this is not in the foreseeable future, but you all seem to like it, so maybe later.

That would root her in place. Shouldn't she be pointing her hoof forward? (speaking as a rather mediocre swordfighter and drawer of equines)
