What is the closest interaction the Mane 6 have had with Spike?

So I'm planning a fanfic where Spike is attacked and seemingly killed, and the Mane 6 use the Elements of Harmony to try to revive him.

 

As they're preparing the magic I want to have each of them thinking about their closest moments with him, and I'm struggling to remember. Twilight and Rarity is easy, as they've had quite a few episodes and history together. The rest is tricky. Applejack could be when they rescued each other from a timberwolf, but do Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie really have a special moment together?

It's kind of tricky, because they haven't really gone out of the way to showcase each member of the Mane Six's relationships with Spike one on one. Something I wouldn't mind seeing Season 4 improve on.

 

Best I can think of is:

 

Fluttershy: The one that stands out most is when she met him. She was more excited than we see her get very often, completely forgetting all her social anxiety and just diving in and wanting to find out absolutely everything about him. Flutters must have made him feel pretty special.

 

Rainbow Dash: Went with Twilight and Rarity to watch over him on the dragon migration and eventually helped bring him home.

 

Pinkie Pie: Really all that I can think of is that they had a fun and weird commentary session together during the Running of the Leaves.

 

Of course I could be forgetting a bunch. For the purpose of your fanfic, you could always make up some kind of touching moment if you feel that these ones or the ones others think up aren't quite special enough.

Rarity - The whole Spike crush on her...obvious

Applejack - Her saving Spike from the Timberwolf

Twilight Sparkle - The sister/brother relationship...especially in "The Crystal Empire"...obvious. 

Pinkie Pie - Throwing the birthday for Spike.

Fluttershy - The gem scene from "Just For Sidekicks".

Rainbow Dash - The way she acted during the middle-end of "Dragon Quest" could be possible. 

 

Yeah, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie need more interactions with Spike. :/

For Pinkie Pie - Maybe when Spike said to her that Gummy wanted some Spike Time.  And Pinkie said:  "Who wouldn't?  Spike time is the best."

Hmm, this is indeed a sadly tough question. The most significant moments I could think of have been mentioned already. But here are a few others.

 

Pinkie jumped off the train in Over a Barrel to rescue Spike from the buffalo.

 

Spike and Pinkie were together with Twilight for quite a while in It's About Time, but they didn't actually interact that much. And there was that scene where Rainbow and Spike were laughing at Twilight trying to stand still for a week.

 

Also Spike being Rainbow's ghost writer in Mare Do Well.

 

And Rainbow scaring him into hiccups in Griffon the Brush Off, and into choking in Luna Eclipsed.

 

Spike almost kissed Applejack while daydreaming about Rarity in Dog and Pony Show And of course there's the infamous backrub in Spike At Your Service. And the wormy cupcakes she made in Applebuck Season.

One moment that always makes me laugh is when Pinkie and Spike are making the wedding cake dolls kiss.

Well, there was Dragon Migration, which I think is the only episode in which they interacted with each other.
