I love zombies! I was looking at a review for a zombie game the other day though....and said it was overdone. I go to another site, and another and another....apparently I missed this? Because I haven't seen any cool zombies games apparently...what are some cool ones then?

The Last Of Us is pretty cool. They're not zombies officially, but you can consider them being one. The plot is really deep and the ending felt really weird... I'd recommend it.

The Last of Us is a pretty solid game. Dying Light will be coming out probably next year, so that game will definitely be pretty good.

Left 4 Dead is one of the most famous and in my opinion one of the best zombie games. The Walking Dead (The Telltale games one, not survival instinct) is also very good. It's mainly a point and click game but it's really fun.

 

The Last of Us is also great. If you have a PS3 you should definitely check this out.

Zombies are incredibly overdone. One way or another they've been in everything. Games focused on zombies like Left 4 Dead or Resident Evil, games that use zombies as a supplement to the setting and story like The Last Of Us, games that merely use them as the most basic enemy of a horror game like Eternal Darkness or most RPGs....The zombie, in all it's forms and origins, is everywhere because it's easy.

 

Now, overdone or not, that doesn't change whether you are tired of it or not. That differs from person to person. I personally love zombies and I can't wait for Dying Light and still need to play Dead Island.

A game known as State of Decay on the Xbox Live arcade. It is awesome! I played it a while and I love it. You won't be disappointed. Unless you don't own an Xbox 360 of course.

Would just like to point as that the earlier suggestion of Sniper Elite Zombie Army is not worth your time or money. Its a generic wave based game with absolutely no innovation or anything that makes it stand out on it's own, you're actually better off with the Zombie modes in CoD. 

 

Dead Space, Walking Dead and Left for Dead are probably your best options. Also the first two Dead Rising games were good as well (ignore the new one that's coming out, they've wrecked it).

 

 

 

It is awesome! I played it a while and I love it. You won't be disappointed. Unless you don't own an Xbox 360 of course. 

 

It's actually on it's way to PC soon, something I am most pleased about!

I agree that zombie games are getting pretty overdone this year, but who doesn't like a good classical game that involves shooting the living fudge outta them?  :comeatus: 

There are some really good ones out there you should REALLY try. I barely play them, but they are pretty thrilling. :3

I didn't like alot of these (not a big FPS fan), but looking at them led me to genres and games I will enjoy, and alot of them are on steam. Thanks for the help
