Most memorable thing for you at BronyCon 2013

Yep, what were things you remember from BronyCon 2013? Anything awesome? Anything fun? What did you all think of Baltimore? Did you meet any new friends?

I live in Baltimore and I was pretty lucky my first Bronycon would be here :D but I only go to go on Saturday but it was so awesome! But the awesomest memory I have was when I went to the VA panel on Saturday, I got the chance to ask a question and then I made a Pinkie Pie impression :)

I dunno if the impression was good but I felt really happy when everyone started cheering :D

My expression was like this all day

I loved the VA panel and the vendor hall was amazing. :D My favorite part was when I got in a bidding war for the Twilight Sparkle pocket watch at the charity auction and I won! :squee:  I love it! :P

  • 4 weeks later...

Gathering with all the staff I had met for the first time and doing our best to rehearse the Poniverse panel in the limited time we had was quite the experience, and I was beyond euphoric by the end of it. Manning the vendor table whenever I could get a moment, meeting so many people from the forums I created, and having dinner with the staff who are part of making it all keep going...

Summed up, the whole convention was an incredible bonding experience, and I hope to get the chance to do it all again next year. :)

Having the opportunity to meet so many people from the forum, especially the staff with whom I've worked for nearly half a year. Hugging them, having dinner together, and just hanging out. Conventions, like forums, are about people and a community experience, so every chance to spend some time together was memorable. That's really the only reason I go to BronyCon. Everything else is just a bonus.

@@Candy Blaze, oh snap, you live in Baltimore? I live in Cockeysville. We should get together and do stupid crap sometime.

As for me, I loved seeing Lord Bababa up on that poniverse panel. He's such a dreamy young man wub.png

and actually no the most memorable part of the con was sitting there as the entire convention center was shaking violently from the rave up stairs. Okay I was sleeping and then all of a sudden the world starts shaking and that was pretty freaky.

The night before the con, I made the random decision to wear a fake mustache for the day I was able to attend. My dad didn't want me to, because he thought it looked lame, but I did so anyway. Glad I did, because it seemed to amuse everyone I met (I actually discussed how the tape had seemingly fused to my face with Pixelkitties.

Later on in the afternoon, I went to get my art print of Spike signed by Cathy Weseluck. Without provocation, she complimented the stache and supported my choice of Rarity for Best Pony in Spike's voice.

I loved the poniverse panel.  Andy, Katie, & Heather:  Oh my! was also very good (I have all the comics now and a subscription to get the new ones every month).  Animation is magic and the roast of mlp weren't as good as they should have been, but I did feel the room shake because of bronypalooza and we were on the opposite side of the building.  It was my first con of any type and I have to admit it was one of the best experiences of my 40 year life.

Buck yeah!  Some of the most memorable times:

- Making new friends at the bar trot on Thursday night.  It was an absolute blast, and I stumbled back to my room around 3am.  As you can imagine, the registration line the next morning was a little painful.  Here's a pic from that night:

Also, meeting Michelle was pretty cool.
