writing for my lost buddy

tough you are long lost and gone,

forgetting seems impossible.

you where there by my side,

fighting for the greater.

 

i never got to say goodbye,

but i never needed to.

you are still by my side,

like you allways where.

 

for the people around me,

it seems like i keep strong.

they never see me fall to my knees,

when i hear that grand old song.

 

your mind wasn't yours,

and you finally fell through the darkness.

and when i heared you went for the rope,

my body became heartless.

 

we used to fight through the night,

and eventough your not with me,

i never stopped fighting.

for we ruled the night together.

 

i came up with this in memory of my best buddy mark, who sadly died an early death.

thought i'd leave this here. 

also, this is like the first poem-ish thing i have ever written, so anything constructive is welcome.

Sorry to hear about your friend.. I wish I could do more, but i can't really. 

 

But its nice that you decided to write a poem for your friend. I hope I don't have to have that happen to me, heck i haven't even experienced any deaths yet of people close to me.

 

Regardless, sorry to hear about your friend, losing your best friend can't be easy :/.

And a nice poem, i don't know alot about poetry really, but i will say you did have a typo by putting allways instead of always(Or atleast i'm pretty sure thats a typo ;p.)

 

Other then that idk.
