There human bodies where still the same color as their ponie bodies when in pony form. Thtats what i didnt like, because it looked so weird. Color-wise.......I could care less, they all looked cute, but it doesn't beat there true selves as ponies. So I have to say, no. Lightning Bliss 1,674 March 5, 2014 Share March 5, 2014 While all the characters on pony and human side were cute in my opinion, ponies will always rule. It's what I grew up with MLP wise, it shocked me that they made Equestria Girls and I avoided it for the longest time till like laterly last December. I watched it and it was cute, I loved the music but the plot was obvious, the villian was cliche' and some of the voice acting or characters felt a bit underdeveloped. While the human designs are "ok" imo, I felt that they all looked pretty bland compared to their cuter equine counterparts. Maybe if the staff decided to go with actual human designs vs. the cartoony pony-human hybrid style that was used, then I would probably reconsider. The reason I have come up with is that my mind tends to picture things that are animal in nature in a more human sense, or anthro. But, I put it this way. MLP (pony form) is like the Comic version, while EQ girls is the comic being made into a Cartoon. Both are great but the org is more minds eye then the animated movement of a cartoon. (yes i am aware a comic does exist and both shows are animated) What threw me for a loop was not so much the EQgirls themselves but what fans have created using similar art styles.
