Okay, after 3 long seasons of unbearable stress that final episode was just twilight going off the deep end and that was all in her head LOL (magical mystery cure).

 

Season 4 could lead out with Twilight sparkle humming that cutie mark song strapped down in a straight jacket being wheeled away.  Like literally the visit from Celestial, was just a break from reality.  That would explain all that singing while their all miserable.  I mean that makes no sense.

 

Just imagine a nutty twilight going "But i'm an alicorn princess!" non stop LOL and not having any wings.  Maybe even jumping off building going "wee I can fly."

 

Just imagine discords reaction "OH sweet Celestial I finally broke her!"  I think it would be a blast to have pinkie look at someone else as the crazy one.

Additionally hasbro could than put out "straight jack twilight."

they'd get a new toy,

I'm going to go under the impression that this is a joke post, because I don't understand it at all. I don't think that Hasbro would do something like that, mainly because a lot of asylums are shown to just be awful places. It seems a bit too much.

 

I mean, what would the plot of the episode be? Your idea seems like it would only take about 5 minutes.

I'm not trying to be mean but your suggestion was a no-no. Besides that, I heard that it was directed by Daniel Ingram (well at least i think so) and he wanted it to be a musical which probably explains why there were too many songs. Other than that I tolerate and love Alicorn Twilight. It makes the show more lets say exciting.

Having the whole episode as an entire musical, was a pretty bad idea. That is probably a bad way to fix MMC, no offence. I think the only way to fix the episode is to fix the pacing, don't resolve the problem too quickly, and don't have too many songs in one episode.
