Icarus flinched at the word brother, almost as if someone had faked him out with a punch. 

 

"hmm, very good that you two are reunited then" Icarus said, in an odd voice. He then shook his head slightly, and returned to his normal calm demeanor.

 

"But reunions can wait, we have a situation here" Icarus said in his normal voice.

Ambrose was happy for Light, maybe he would stop dying I he had some one to support him better. She approached glowing and stuck out her hoof. "I'm Ambrose" she said. She then realized now was not the best times for introductions as blast was still fighting

Blast smirked at the sentinel once again.

"Why not?" Blast backed up and began running. He then got into a sliding position and slid under the pink armor- wearing sentinel. Once he got far enough behind him, Blast gave the pony a kick in the flank, sending him to the floor.

The sentinel crashed to the floor. "So, you assume you can stop me? Even if you do, there are five more!" Shouted the sentinel, still on the ground, obviously in pain. He had landed on his blade, and it had passed through his chest. He clung to life, and with his last dying breath, he said, "they're coming for you now..." And with that, he was gone. The pink from his armor faded, and transferred to Blast.

Icarus heard a very familiar sound. The sound of a sword slicing through flesh, a sound he had heard many times.  He turned to see the sentinel, dead, with a sword in his chest. He also saw that it was talking to Blast. He quickly trotted over to blast.

 

"Blast, what did he say ?" he inquired.

Light stepped in. "The sentinel said something that they, whoever they is, are after Blast now." Said Light. "I apologize for eavesdropping, though." Apologized Light.

 

Glowing agreed. "It is as Light says it is. But who could they be?" Inquired Glowing, thinking out loud.

"Well, actually, with such great ponies on our side, who needs battle plans? We siege, and if they hit us, we hit them harder." Said Glowing.

 

"Ambrose, I'm gonna have to agree with Glowing. Until we know who they are, we can't plan for their defeat." Explained Light the best way he could, hoping he helped Glowing out.

Sylver slowly sneaked thru the archives he was not allowed in the runes section of the castle but he had to. looking thru the rows of rune stones he finally found the rune he had been looking for he slowly grabbed the rune out of its place, it instantly reacted turning itself into a large diamond on a silver chain. putting the small chain around his neck he felt the gem slowly sucking away his arcane energy till his eyes no longer were glowing and had turned back to there normal shade, light purple. Sylver also noted that his coat had also returned to its normal color a shiny white. Sylver started back to the heroes.

There should always be a plan, no matter the situation. Even if we don't know what these enemies are capable of, we still need a basic structure to work off of in battle. " Icarus threw out his opinion.

Hmm, I wonder what that Sylver person went off to do. I guess I'll just have to ask when he gets back.

The armor that the sentinel wore simply decomposed, revealing the element of kindness in it's purest state once more. With the element not being in the possession of Fluttershy anymore, the element was back to it's original jewel formation. Blast grabbed the element and the power began coursing inside of him, along with the element disappearing and becoming a part of his spirit. When Blast finished absorbing the element, Blast flipped back around to face the group, feeling and looking stronger.

Light and Glowing turned to meet Blast. "Hey, Blast, you're looking more chipper than usual there, I'm glad you got the element you required, buddy." Spoke Light.

 

Glowing turned to see Sylver return. "Well, it's good to meet you." Said Glowing. Light turned to greet the new arrival, but stopped dead in his tracks. "Hey," he questioned, "why aren't you shiny anymore? And what's that around your neck? Where were you?" Questioned Light, stepping closer and closer, staring at Slver in his eyes.

"I'm Light's brother." Finished Glowing with a smile upon his face. "And it's good to finally meet your acquaintance."

Glowing retracted his hoof from Blast. "Fine. Be that way." He snarled, before turning back to Light. "Light, there isn't much time." He explained. "You may think it was coincidence I was here, I assure you, it is not." Explained Glowing. "Well, Glowing, what is it?" Light asked. "Reality is starting to deform, don't worry, though, Spider-Colt is on that case, but, that means that Dark is planning something, and soon." Explained Glowing, looking at the blackening sky.

"If dark is planning something i suggest we take cover because it wont be pretty." Ambrose said. The last she remembered of Dark was alot of bad stuff, several ponies dying, and Light turning evil. Ambrose couldn't stand if that happened again. It had been bad enough the first time.

"Well" began Glowing, "I have been in the wilderness for many a year, and I haven't been able to communicate with Light. I've been spying, so to speak, on the villains, and, since Light thought I was dead, he was too depressed to mention me."

Ambrose hugged and kissed him back. "Thank you" she whispered to him. Ambrose was glad she had someone helping her. She was a weak pony, well at least weaker then Blast and the others. She hated this feeling.

Light patted Ambrose on the shoulder. "You are special to me." Said Light. "You are my hero." Said Light, before hugging Ambrose again. "It'll be alright." He continued, still hugging Ambrose.

Ambrose laughed a little bit. "How am i your hero, am just a mare, your an amazing regenerating stallion." she smiled shyly. She continued to hug him enjoying the warmth coming from him. She let the hug go on not wanting to pull away. "Thank you" she whispered again.

Light continued to hug Ambrose. "you don't need to have super powers, or be able to regenerate, or even have to be super strong, to be a hero. A hero is one who helps another, and you, Ambrose, have helped me." Said Light. "And you'll always be my hero, no matter what." Continued Light.

"I do not understand this infatuation you have for the term "Hero", but  to each his own I guess." Icarus said. "There are no heroes out here, if you ask me, only those who simply do what must be done besides circumstances" Icarus said, echoing himself.

 

Icarus turned to Glowing 

 

"I do not believe I have introduced myself yet, I am Doctor Icarus, Plague doctor and practitioner of of medicine and poison" He said, giving a slight respectful bow.

Ambrose smiled again. "Thank you" she whispered for the third time. She was happy she had met a pony who had become her coltfriend. It made her feel safer, she always had somepony to talk with. She turned to Icarus. "What is your definition of a hero then?" she asked.
