How do you go and buy Pony Merch in the store without everyone looking at you?

learned this working at walmart :P ... people buy allot weirder stuff than pony merc, and there is always a observor bias, not just when buying this stuff, but anytime with people . the isle way part with the mom though i understand :P i was " zoneing " ( a term WalMArt uses refering to tideing up stuff ) and i was in the toy section, the two moms where looking for Celestia, and had no idea what character that was... without me thinking that the names are on the packages, i start to help them find it, as if it was totaly normal... at first they gave me " the look " as well, but i noticed that when they realized i worked there, the observor bias was removed, and they most likely assumed i knew this stuff because i work for the place selling it :P ... me and my GF also buy the mystery packs out of fun almost everytime we are out ( its like the lottery 0.o ) , after all of this it is normal.lol. just look casual, and norm and people will asume the best instead of rushing to the conclusion that the lesser have like pedo and such.

It's best not to worry about it. I've learned in life that showing insecurity about something makes thing worse because other people will pick up on it and assume that because you treat it as shameful bad habit, that should react accordingly.

Twice over the couple weeks I've stood in the Dollar Store reading Blind Bags(because I have so many misc ones I only get characters I actually want now instead of buying at random)

I did have a lady jokingly ask me if I had a secret obsession with My Little Pony once, that was funny. My only thought was "define secret".

I never had a problem. I just buy what I want and that's that.

I did get strange looks at an anime convention once. I bought one of THOSE anime on DVD. Guys were all trying to see what I picked out! That was very embarrassing, so I guess I know what people are talking about here.

LOL!

I guess I better not name the DVD title here, but it featured a song called, well, I better not name it either. It actually is an awesome song though!
