These are my favorite scenes.

 

For those of you out there scratching your heads, it's from the 80's Transformers movie, with Unicron. I grew up watching the show on TV, though it was on reruns at the time. Still one of the best parts of my childhood though. I still watch it sometimes.

 

Anypony else remember this series? Nothing better than giant robots in space, bashing each other to pieces.

Ah, the 80s Transformers movie! If only the Michael Bay movies were this awesome. That soundtrack. I need to watch this again.

 

Never seen the show itself but I love the movie.

I only had 10 original transformers episodes and it was fucking epic, if only I got the other episodes...shame the newer versions aren't as good

Hu, just last night an old college friend and I watched a few of the old original episodes on Netflix. Definitely played with a lot of transformers in my day but a few of the episodes were just plain nonsensical. And Grimlock gets old real fast....

The animated transformers movie, I remember that and the first 2 seasons of the show.  Didn't see much of season 3, though I did see season 4.  Though season 4 only had 3 episodes, if I recall correctly.  That one got really weird.  Daniel being RC's head, if I recall correctly.  I wonder what they were smoking when they got the idea for the headmasters.  Different then the Japanese Headmasters from the series of the same name.

Little known fact. The Quintession Judge in the top video was actually the creator of the Transformers in one of the cannon plot lines.

 

Also, it's pretty insane that they made the show to sell toys, and yet it's still pretty well done in terms of story, considering.
