Confetti Nova 58 November 25, 2013 Share November 25, 2013 (edited) I've recently fell in love with this genre. Clint Eastwoods or the five star famous ones like Once Upon A Time in The West are always good. )O( Scarlet )O( 1,259 November 25, 2013 Share November 25, 2013 Not sure about the actual western ones, but I do love the Spaghetti Westerns, mainly the Trinity series, those were some good movies back in the day (Avatar art done by and Signature art done by @Guardian Braveheart (Aka my little brother), Avatar and Signature done by myself)
Sunny Fox 5,961 November 25, 2013 Share November 25, 2013 Well, I just recently saw "The Magnificent Seven". Really reminded me of the days when movies couldn't wow the audience with CGI, and so actually had to have a compelling story and strong characters. I could watch more westerns. 1 Happy minion of The Fabulous One! Scootalove 10,692 November 26, 2013 Share November 26, 2013 I'm a sucker for Western movies especially the movies from long ago, or at least movies directed by Quentin Tarantino. I also like True Grit, a pretty classic movie. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
FoxyCryptid 4,330 November 26, 2013 Share November 26, 2013 Not to much. I like the original True Grit with John Wayne but that's about it. I like western themed games like Red Dead Redemption though, and I like the Old West aesthetic. "You know, I don't know who or what you are Methos, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you did teach me something. You taught me that Life's about change, about learning to accept who you are, good or bad. And I thank you for that." -Duncan McLeod.
CornBreadGang 514 November 26, 2013 Share November 26, 2013 I love westerns! That's my childhood, was watching westerns on Saturday with my Dad. Although, one of my favorites is sort of on the borderline between western and comedy, and that's "The Shakiest Gun In The West". Other than that, I love movies like "True Grit", and "The Magnificent Seven". I also loved western TV shows like "Rawhide" and "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly". CT-1138 3,184 November 26, 2013 Share November 26, 2013 I wouldn't say I'm a "fan", but I definitely find the Western genre very enjoyable. I just wouldn't go out of my way to rent a Western movie. Tan 91 November 26, 2013 Share November 26, 2013 I am a fan of westerns, i need to see more since i got into them relatively recently. I seen the Clint Eastwood Dollars trilogy and loved each one. I also saw the Shootist John Wayne's last movie and i have to say he did a damn good job as J, B, Books. That film was really good in my opinion. I still need to see the classics that John Wayne did when he was younger though. I did hear that his best perfomance was the shootist but im sure his earlier works are great too.
