When ever we see our dear princess of the night, she's always at a formal event, celebration, or keeping an eye on things at night. So what else does she have to do other than raise the moon? I believe she plays a major role in security, but there has got to be more to it than that. What do you you think?

I've always had the theory that she's been up to something since the finale of season 2. I know she was watching over her the night during the wedding, but it just seems fishy. I don't know, there could be a possible plot twist where she has been planning something evil. Or likely not. Doesn't surprise me either way.

Alright. Simple. What would any large, dark blue, violently aggressive, flying, magical, powerful creature do? Well nothing at all. If you have power, you make folks that are less powerful do all that annoying shit for ya.

Luna probably doesn't even raise the moon. Some janitor with a awesome jumpsuit probably does it. Hell, one can accomplish much with a 19.2v drill and a mop.

 

So what are Luna's powers? Well, I happen to have the official list of her powers right here (Even if she does force others to do her work):

-Ability to relocate residents in apartment complexes to much shitter areas.

-Certified pipe fitter and master plumber.

-District Attorney in over 80 different areas.

-Ability to steal wallets and claim that they do not belong to the person whom which it was stolen from.

That's pretty much all Luna's powers. She doesn't do any of those things. He biggest power is to tell other bitches to do whatever she wants and it gets done. So basically, the list is endless. I just knocked out the important things with the list though.

I figure she went to talk to her parents during the wedding. Since she got back from the moon, her parents might have 'summoned' her to whereever they are, like that weird demention we saw in Magical Mystery Cure.

From what I have gathered, it seems that Princess Luna's royal duties include, but are not limited to, raising and lowering the moon, entering into ponies' dreams for the purpose of comforting any who are in distress, keeping watch over Equestria at night, and keeping guard over Equestria in general along with the other princesses, Prince Shining Armor, and the mane six.

 

She very well could have other royal duties in addition to those, but unless I have forgotten something those are her duties depicted in the show so far.
