I want to create music, but I don't know how to start. I have an idea of what I eant to create, but I can't expand my thoughts. Can anyone help me?

Can you give us an idea of your idea?

Although fair warning, I may not be able help. I would love to make music at some point as well, but I don't have much experience with the exception of being able to read music, knowing how to play the piano and trumpet(both not on an expert level), and being a singer.

What kind of music do you want to create? You'll need different things based on what you're doing. If it's electronic music, you want to work up to Ableton live. It's a bit expensive but it's worth the price. FL studio is great on a low budget.

I suggest you get a copy of finale notepad 2012. It's a simple note input program, but at least it'll help you craft the melody. Also, there are a lot a resources out in the internet.
