ooc Legend of the dragoon RP ( OOC/ CLOSED)

Hello everypony! I'm looking for 7 others to join me in an RP based on an old role playing game. The story starts off with all 8 players in a small village named Seles, in a country named serdio. Imperial Sandora has broken away from serdio, and now it's a civil war. You all start out as regular villagers until imperial Sandora comes to ravage the village in the dead of night. You must stand your ground along with the others, quickly making it to the barracks or the blacksmith's forge to grab a weapon. It can be something like bows, spears, swords, axes, greatswords, warhammers, etc. I'd prefer if it was a mix, but that's up to you what you choose. Each character will have a base element. They will be fire, water, earth, wind, light, darkness, lightning, and non elemental ( non elemental is sometimes known as divine. It's basically pure energy.) along the way, the players will come across mythical stones called " dragoon spirits." These grant the user an immense noise in power, magic associated with your element, mechanical wings ( armor will simply cover already winged creatures' wings) but these will come eventually. After the village is defended, you find out that some fellow villagers were kidnapped and sent to Helena prison and you embark to save them. After we embark, the true adventure begins! This was made for sharing the fandom of the story, but anyone can join! Here are the rules;

 

 

1. No godmodding. Don't go all out and be the ultimate weapon for crying out loud.

2. When it comes to elements, it's first come first serve. ( I'm choosing earth, by the way. I don't think anyone wants to be that element, but I like it!)

3. I need to check out your OC, so post a link, please.

4. We're in this together. You can have a little feud with another to make it interesting, but don't kill each other, and keep it purely fiction. I want us all to be friendly to each other in OOC.

5. Try to be active. There's been alot of dead rps lately and I don't want this one to die too XD

6. This one may get long, so lets have fun and do some character development.

7. I don't know how to phrase it... But try to match your OC's personality along with your element.

8. Lets be diverse. I don't think everyone needs heavy armor with a big warhammer XD

9. To prove you read the rules, what do you think goes best with pancakes?

I think ill go ahead and take fire, just because the OC im going to make fits that element the best. If it matters, i think i'll have him get a warhammer, just cuz they're freakin awesome

 

I'll make an OC maybe by tomorrow (its currently 10 at night at time of posting) and I personally prefer chocolate chips and syrup

Update- I have forgotten that some may prefer to mainly use magic, and that's okay. All I ask is that your character have a sidearm.

 

Also, in this game, there was a warrior who knew martial arts. This is also fine if you want to choose your bare hooves as your main weapons ( maybe some knuckle busters for effect?) but don't make it so OP as to where it seems like chuck Norris and Bruce lee have a child together XD.

Alrighty then! Here's Forgefire. i think he's just going to use a warhammer like I said earlier with chainmail armor, nothing too heavy. He also has very minor magic abilities, which he'll basically only use to hold his warhammer.

Also, I think I'll be changing the longsword deal to a great axe, as kongol ( the tank in the game, earth dragoon, and my absolute favorite) used one.

Can i take Divine with my OC Shifted Shadow: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/crimson-shadowshifted-r5255. He would mainly use his magic and shifting to fight but his armor would be very light, and his weapon would be poison, his words, or a knife in your back. Lastly, is there romance allowed?

 

Also rasberries are the best thing for pancakes.

Update: I'll try to get this started soon. I don't want to keep you all waiting, but I am hoping that the last 2 elements are filled in soon. The RP official thread will appear around evening ( 5, 6 pm central time, maybe a bit later. I'll have the link up. Remember, if you have friends who might want to play, it's okay to invite. After the rp starts, it will still be okay for someone to join. I'll just write them in.

While she has the wrench or some other weapon. she would mainly use things that she creates as real weapons (if that's alright with you, or maybe I need to approve them). I choose lighting because of her personality, she can sometimes act and speak 'hastily'; (If you know who larenxcen is, that may be a good example.) and lightning would be a good power source for her mechs.

 

Pancakes go best with, blo~ I mean strawberry syrup

A wrench? What kind of weapons would you build? I like the idea, but keep in mind that this is the age of swords and bows. What would you build? Also, you're in if you want to be, but I'm slightly iffy on that wrench idea though. It sounds interesting but I don't know how we'd fit it in. But if you want, you can keep the wrench. All I ask is that you choose an actual weapon... I don't think that a 50-60 foot dragon would easily be slain with just a wrench XD. Now it could come in handy when we encounter a certain part of the story, but it won't be till much later in the story... And I don't think mechs would exactly fit in either XD

 

And while I appreciate the joke, try to keep that down to a minimum XD

Don't worry, It was nothing more than a joke lol. There won't be much 'syrup'.

 

I guess for a real weapon... a I guess a full metal lance, reduced size of course. Also, since she has the lance now. What if her excuse for the wrench would be that she just made it? It wont be fancy or a working weapon, but it will be a tool. As for what she makes, mainly small distractions items and traps, (usually I have her make smoke grenades and things of that nature yoo, but that's iffy in this rp.)

 

Do you think you can pm me with an example or list of something she could build? If not, I guess she will just be without her creations.

All characters in the game, aside from magical attack items and their respective dragoon abilities, had one base weapon. But then again, who says we have to be bound to the rules of another's creation? You can have both. With you, we are finally ready to begin. I'll make the page and send the link to it.
