Search function not working

Search functions on the site are disabled? I've needed to use it a few times but it wont let me at all.

This is a known feature. The mods are working on upgrading and simplifying the bugs in the search feature, and, instead of shutting down the site for a few days, they only shut down the search system.

How soon will it be back up because there are things I wanna look for to see if they have.
