"Wow. Didn't think you had it in you to kill other Gijinka." She smirked and looked at her nails. Zoe and Nik were rubbing off on her. "That battle was intense. I've never been in anything like that before. It was fun." She then crossed her arms and tapped her fingers against the other arm.

"I didn't kill him, he was still talking when the Absol found him. Even then, it was accidental when I hit him, I misfired" Nik protested. Nik was a lot of things, but if he befriended someone, he would protect them.  

 

"Fun is a strange word when Father broke your nose and smashed your crotch" Nik 2 piped up

Melissa turned to the other NIk. Nik 2, she'll call him. A wry smile crossed her face.

"Hmm. Yes. Strange isn't it? I find different things fun. I like a bit of pain every now and then but this was a lot of pain. It was exhilarating." Melissa sighed and suddenly sat down. Her legs felt weak from all the running she did.

Varrick shook his head and sighed. For the love of... what is wrong with them? I don't know how much of this I can take. Mid stride, Varrick vanished and reappeared in his small office. Being a TA, the work space he was given was minuscule. Just a desk a small desk and a cupboard. He sighed and closed his eyes, praying to Arceus that the rest of the kids wouldn't be as weird as those two.

Nik blinked. How could anyone enjoy pain? Nik's pain tolerance was great, but when he did feel pain, he was down like a sack of bricks. Melissa was different, dare he say it, he actually liked her somewhat. She reminded him of his old squad. There used to be 21 of them, but they disbanded apart and left just Nik, Mick, and Aquil after a while

Melissa stretched her arms above her head and popped a few bones. "I'm going to go now. I'll see you later." She jumped up adn gave him a quick peck on the cheek before departing for the Nurse's office. Blissey said that it may take a while before the nose fully heals but if she kept out of battling for a few days it will heal just fine. Walking out, she headed over to the cafeteria with a bandage over her nose. She got a few pokeblocks and sat down at a vacant table.

 

Nico dragged himself up the wall to help him stand up. He could sense where everyone was in the school. One of the blips moved from the gym to the Nurse and then on to the cafeteria. He didn't pay it much attention. He walked back into the cafeteria and leaned against a wall with his hands in his pockets.

Nik felt his cheeks redden but at least he didn't go insane like last time. 

 

"The Absol is in the cafeteria" Nik 2 informed, giving a salute as he teleported to scout. Nik swore under his breath and used Reflect. While it was weakened, it would be enough just in case the Batman wannabe went insane

Nico just blinked. One second Nik wasn't there and the next he was. Looking down at the shorter gijinka, he took his hands out of his pockets and gripped his khopesh. "What do you want?" Nico raised an eyebrow as he stared at Nik. This gijinka was giving him a weird vibe.

"I don't want any trouble" Nik said, trying to sound confident and instead squeaking like a mouse. "Look, I swear, Mick was delusional, he was hit by a Thunderbolt" Nik whined pitifully, putting up an Oscar winning performance. Nik 2 for his part sneaked past, grabbing food for his father

"Oh yes, he told me he was hit by a Thunderbolt. But he told me that after he was patched up at the PokeCenter. So tell me. Who's the delusional one now?" Nico relaxed his grip when he saw that Nik wasn't being hostile. Yet. Still though, just in case he clutched his Absolite. To activate it, he would need to put it inside his watch so there's no fear of transforming whenever he holds it.

"Do you know what happens to someone after they've been in the desert without food or water for several days? They hallucinate" Nik hissed, looking at Nik 2. Nik 2 gave him a thumbs up. "As much fun as it has been talking with Batman's younger brother, I must go now, my child needs me" Nik snarked, trying to walk calmly and failing at it. He more or less bolted to where Nik 2 was sitting

'Is that so? Huh.' Nico smiled and headed over to where he thinks a Porgyon gijinka is. He hasn't much contact with the outside world until very recently, when the monks told him to go out and find enlightenment. As much enlightenment as a gijinka could get anyway. He realesed his grip on both the Absolite and khopesh. Sitting down he looked at her looking at something in her hands.

"What is that?" He didn't know what it was.

"Oh this?" Samantha said, pointing at the device in her hands. "It's my PDA. I'm just checking my mail on it. My name's Samantha by the way." she said, smiling up at the Absol gijinka. "What's you name? I haven't seen you around before." The Porygon Z Gijinka said, twitching slightly. One of her many tics. The botched evolution still followed her to this day.

"Samantha. Good name for a girl. Ahem. Sorry. I'm not used to talking to other people. My name is Nico. Are you a Porygon or a Porygon Z gijinka?" Nico sat back and clutched his Absolite. It helped calm him down. He wasn't used to this many people. Sure, the monks were few and far between but he was used to them. People his own age, not so much.

"Porygon Z. I remember when I was a Porygon, it was really awkward because everything felt all... boxy..." Samantha thought out loud. "And thank you Nico. That's a nice knife you have there. Is that a Khopesh or a Kukri? I'm guessing you come from somewhere with lots of vegetation in order to hack through it with that knife. Unless you use it as a weapon, which I'm sure people with swords and stuff do for self-defense at the very least." She rambled. "You wouldn't happen to be very aggressive with that... would you?" she asked.

He really wished he was back at Snowpoint Temple but rules are rules. He has to go to school otherwise he won't be with people his own age.

"This is a Khopesh. It's an Egyptian weapon meant for disarming and easy decapitation." He took his Khopesh out of it's sheath and placed it on the table. "You can have a look at it if you want. I'm only aggressive with it if I'm provoked." Nico leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. "I almost forgot. Are you in Dorm 5?"

"That I am." Samantha said, examining the Khopesh. "Easy decapitation you said? I would hope that you don't have to use that feature that often, would you?" She asked, slightly nervous. Her nervous tics starting to act up again. She tried to focus on her PDA, making sure that she had everything the way it had to be. At least she had arrived on a Friday. That way she would have plenty of time to relax over the weekend.

"I don't use that feature unless absolutely necessary. Hopefully I won't have to here. I'm also in Dorm 5 and when I was talking with someone there, A blur of motion came and went. That wasn't you, was it?" He took the Khopesh back, lest she cut herself on it. He placed it back in the sheathe and clutched his Absolite tighter. He was really stressing out now.

Samantha laughed nervously. "Yeah that probably was me." She rubbed the back of her head, blushing. "I was in a bit of a rush to get in. I knew I was late, but I thought I was on a bit of a time limit to get in." She started twirling her finger through her hair. "So, where are you from that you don't know what a PDA is? It's relatively old tech, in comparison to what we have as the norm nowadays."

Nico blinked. He wasn't prepared for that question. "Uuuh, I'm from Snowpoint Temple. I haven't much contact with the outside world until very recently. I was raised by monks basically. What about you? Where are you from?" Nico let go of the Absolite as he calmed down. He was on the verge of a breakdown and he hadn't even been in the school for a full day! This is going to be a very long year.

"Well, my software was developed at Silph, and my hardware was developed by Sarif Industries." Samantha said. "I guess you could call me android. I prefer augumented individual is better though. I was originally human, got in an accident when I was very young though. Sarif and Silph worked together to basically bring me back to life. The software made by Silph was implanted in a chip in my head and the hardware made by Sarif is pretty much my entire body. They were able to make it look human-enough though. I wear these things on my arms since the arms are the wrong color, and it looks good with my outfit." Samantha took a breath. "I'm not sure why I'm telling everything to you, but you seem to me like a nice person, so I trust you."

Ms Claudia suppressed a giggle of her own and shook the contents of her held out hand.
"Oh, no no no, darling! That would be so very unprofessional of me~. Now someone be a darling and take this key? It's for Castform's Playroom. On Monday I'll escort you all there, alright sweethearts?" As soon as one of them had taken the key from her hand, she stood, stretching.

 

"Alright! You may leave now. Well, actually you have to go now~. Have fun doing whatever you kids do....!~" She helps a finger against her cat-like smile and winked at the kids " Go on! Shoo, shoo!"

Nik would have gone over to talk to the Porygon (which Porygon he wasn't sure) gjinka but the Batman wannabe was there too. 

 

"Father, it would give me great honor to fight off wannabe Batman" Nik 2 offered, bowing. Nik scoffed.

 

"That guy is no push over, he's a stone hard person...like the Sceptile gjinka. You'd get your head chopped off" Nik grumbled bluntly

Dusk was NOT prepared for the harsh punishment Ms. Claudia had issued to the group.

 

"...cleanup....playroom..o-okay.." He said dumbfounded by the amount of harsh justice that was being delivered. Having Ms. Claudia shoo away the group and back out into the hallway. Dusk merely stood there in front of the office door in his own little zoned out world.

 

Shaking his head and snapping back into reality, Dusk looked at his friends with a stoic expression.

 

"Guys...I don't think I'm ready for poop duty.." Dusk said with the most hollow face and tone he's ever had. Though after several minutes had passed by he began snickering like a madman before finally bursting out in a laughing fit.

 

"AHAHAH, Once again I have eluded the expulsion wagon, that went WAY smoother than I thought it would. You guys are fantastic people, just wanna put that out there." Dusk said as his laughing fit toned down into small chuckles as he folded his arms.

 

"This is....gonna be an interesting school indeed.." He remarked as he stared off into the hallway, almost looking like some kind of satisfying finale to a drama had concluded....he REALLY should stop watching those Japanese dramas with dad. He looked back towards his friends and smiled.

 

"So...now what?" He asked kind of at a lost here.

Zoe happily snatched up the key to Castform's playroom, grinning at Miss Claudia before scampering out the door with her friends.  She was actually happy with the decision, and when Dusk started talking about poop duty, she started laughing out loud.

 

"I don't even think this is a punishment, really...  I mean, we're basically getting told that we have to visit Castform a couple times a week!  If we have to clean up a little poop, I don't really see it as that big of a problem.  I mean, he's so tiny, how bad could it be?"  She giggles again before her ears suddenly flatten out and she stamps her foot, looking at her friends.

 

"But hey, what the heck you guys!?  I was ready to take the blame for all of that, you didn't need to jump in the way you did.  I mean sheesh, a girl tries to do something nice and it goes TOTALLY unappreciated."  The Zorua girl huffs and crosses her arms, glancing off to the side.  She wasn't really mad - in fact, she'd been a little touched that her friends had rushed to her defense - but she wasn't about to let them off the hook that easily.

 

"But, umm...  I guess Dinner?  I don't even know what time it is, everything after lunch kinda just ran together while I was trying to find Castform..."

Darius grins slightly as the students start to leave, raising an eyebrow at Claudia from his position near the door.  "And here you only gave a couple of them heart attacks...  Are you going soft, Claudia, or do you just like that group?  You do seem to have a bit in common with the zorua lass."
