Nico took the Hex ball with nary a scratch. He slid back a few feet and actually stumbled for a bit. 'That Hex ball did more damage then I thought.' Nico thought to himself. He created a Dark Pulse ball and went to throw it but he threw it at his feet instead of at Daniel. This caused a mini explosion and made Nico fly back towards the bleachers. 'Okay, I'm now completely confused.' Nico thought to himself as he landed with his head banging against a seat.

@,Daniel noticeably winced as he witnessed the small explosion slingshot Nico all the way towards the bleachers and hit his head on one of the seats in the bleachers.  "My bad!"  Daniel said as he, now kind of reluctantly, continued to assault the Absol now with another Flame Burst as he rose both his hands and arms at a slow pace, steadily building heat before moving them together, his hands slightly cupped as his index and middle finger along with his thumb formed a circular shape as he concentrated intense heat into the center of the shape, and as the heat slowly rose to a pretty high level, Daniel then thrust his arms forward and let loose a burning streak of flame towards the Absol, bursting with energy and fire.

Nico breathed and got up. He saw the Flame Burst come at him and he rolled out of the way, the Flame Burst burnt the bleachers where he was. Nico clutched his head and managed to get his vision mostly straight although he could still slightly see two Daniels. He gathered a ball of darkness and just as his vision made Daniel into one, he hurled it at Daniel. After the throw, he began to see two Daniels again.

@, It was no use to dodge, Daniel was too close and had no time to get out of the way and, therefore, took the Dark Pulse (I think that's what it was) in full force.  The pain from the powerful attack was inconceivable to say the least, Daniel tried to forget the pain but it was unbearable as he felt his stamina drop like a rock and things have been looking up until this point.  Daniel silently cursed under his breath as he slowly got back onto his feet, preparing a last ditch effort in his left palm and as the Shadow Ball grew more powerful an eerie purple glow started to seep through his fingers as his face grew tense and his normally straight face turned more into a slightly sadistic grin, and as Daniel finally stood once more he opened his palm showcasing a large ball of dark shadows twisting and writhing in the orb.  At last Daniel finally hurled the sphere at Nico, sure it wouldn't do much, but it was the least he could do before passing out on the floor from lack of energy.

Nico shook his head and managed to clear it of the Confusion. He saw the Shadow Ball come towards him and he held out his hand. He caught it and suffered some damage from it. He winced and let the Shadow Ball drop at his feet. He held his right arm with his left hand and walked up to Daniel. "Come on. I thought you were stronger than that." Nico said.

@,"...don't worry, I still have some fight left in me."  Daniel stated as he let his sadist smile fade, being replaced with exhaustion, "That last attack though, how much power did you put in the darn thing?  I thought I was going to die for a second there.  Plus that's what happens when you haven't trained since last Friday; you become weaker."  He gave a thumbs up to Nico and smiled slightly, "Very nicely done though.  Now let's see what the observer thinks." he said, looking towards the Abracadabra still sitting on the bleachers.

Nico sighed in relief and sat down next to him. "That's good.  How much power did I put in my Dark Pulse ball? I was just having fun. I put about seventy percent power in it." Nico answered his question. He looked over towards Varrick as well and waited for what the student teacher had to say.

Charlotte followed Althaia out the gates. Her ears kept rotating to pick up any sounds that might be worth listening to. "So what do you think happened? I think it could have been a poor maintenance job but with a powerplant that supplies a whole school and practically the whole town there's got to be maintenance there. Right?" Charlotte said. She's just speculating at this point. There's no way of truly knowing what happened until they got there.

 

"Yeah, it's a Hydroelectric plant though, so if, say, the dam sprung a leak or something like that, it would take a bit of work to fix it." Althaia replied. "We might have to help them out, I don't mind though. I could possibly use Ancient Power and have some rocks fill in the holes if there are any."

Synthia kinda smiles, "How about we go find new people to talk to? It could be fun. Like, board games and stuff! And we could share our berries." She walks close to him, wrapping an arm and a ribbon around his waist. She kinda wanted to do some bow-shooting, but she also wanted to spend the time with Rune.

Charlotte said after a while. 'I just want to get this over and done with.' Charlotte thought to herself.

Synthia kinda smiles, "How about we go find new people to talk to? It could be fun. Like, board games and stuff! And we could share our berries." She walks close to him, wrapping an arm and a ribbon around his waist. She kinda wanted to do some bow-shooting, but she also wanted to spend the time with Rune.

 

"That's fine with me." Rune replied. "Where do you want to go? Library maybe?" He suggested.

"Fair enough." Althaia said. They arrived at the power plant and she went and talked to the foreman of the plant, asking what was going on, and was enlightened on the situation. "Well damn." She said, chuckling at the obvious pun. "Apparently there was a crack in the dam that caused a leak and fried some of the electrical equipment. Luckily, they've mended the leak and are about to finish up with restoring the power." She explained.

Charlotte smiled. "Well that's good news. At least the school will have power soon." Charlotte thwn saw the look the foreman gave her. "And town. I said town." Charlotte said while panicking. She nervously smiled and clasped her hands behind her back. "So we good now?" She asked.

"That's fine with me." Rune replied. "Where do you want to go? Library maybe?" he asked.

"No, I think it might be better if we go somewhere people are if we want to socialize. Since most people can't read in the dark, without electricity nobody's going to be in the current dramatic lighting."

 

Ms Molly was putting candles around the library to increase her ancient theme. Also because she didn't want to move the heavy drapes. They were too awesome.

The foreman told Charlotte an estimate of when they would likely get the powerr back up and running. "That's good but I think I hear another leak." Charlotte said. She pointed to said leak and the foreman quickly patched it up. "We're done here then. He said that the power will be back by tonight." Charlotte said then gestured for Althaia to follow her out the door.

Lhee pauses to reach up and smack a tree branch with his bone club, knocking loose an Oran Berry and catching it out of midair.  Taking a bite out of it he glances towards Razor and shrugs slightly.  "Berry who?"  The Marowak...  Didn't exactly get out much.

 

"Amau-mau!"  Looking down at the Amaura staring at the berry in his hand, Lhee sighs quietly before kneeling down and picking up the little pokemon.  Letting Amaura rest on his shoulder, Lhee winces slightly under the pokemon's weight as he stands back up.  From her new height the little pokemon could reach the berries in the lower branches herself.

"I suppose you have a point." Rune replied. "But where do you think people would gather? I would think people would go where they get food, or just hang out with their friends in their dorms, which is what it's looking like so far. I mean, I've only seen anyone in the Berry garden or the surrounding hallways."

"Maybe a Commons area, like the one outside the dorms. Or the gym, if they're sports-inclined. The gym has big windows. Or I could.... you know, ask for a low-power short-ranged radar to find someone. Or we could just bust into Koh's room. Play some Bingo or something."

"Haha, nevermind." Was Razors response, since she wasn't aware Lhee didn't know what she was talking about. "Do you know what kind of berries she likes? Seems to me like she's just willing to eat about any of them." She observed, seeing paws swipe at every color berry in front of her. "I guess there weren't a lot of berry plots at.. Lavender Town, was it? Though the name seems like a place where humans would grow flowers, but there are berries to get at a city called Vielstone so.. yeah." Berries are planted everywhere, right? What if its only a Sinnoh trend?

"This? This is just a snack.. or mini breakfast! Here you can have some!" Lolita reached out to her Wailord love, he could have anything of hers he wanted.

Koh chuckled. "No, it's fine pau, you can have it." He replied. "I get the feeling that the power will be coming back fairly soon. I mean, we have been in the dark for the past day or so, and with how diligently people work at power plants to keep it running, I get the feeling it's going to be on soon, so I'll be fine." He laid back on his bed and put his arms behind his head. "I'm not sure where people would gather in the dark though, is my issue, because some people will just want to stay in their dorms, since the cafeteria is closed, but the common room might have some people in it. You want to go there?" He proposed.

Nico smirked as he got an idea. "Daniel, if the umpire is sleeping, what would he do if I threw a Dark Pulse Ball at him?" Nico asked him. He didn't know what would happen but he was fairly sure there would be dire consequences. Nico shimmered a bit and another Nico sat next to him. Copy Nico quietly padded up to Varrick and gave a thumbs up before he disappeared. "Yeah, he's asleep. Should I do it or not?" Nico asked Daniel quietly.

Althaia said. "Luckily, it shouldn't be as chaotic as it was when the lights went down, but still. Let's get going then." She finished, following Lottie out the door.
