Could the Hub turn into this generation's best channel for cartoons, like Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon were in the 90s, and make it worth getting up early on Saturday again? They have two very solid shows in MLP and Littlest Pet Shop. Disney Channel is also headed in the right direction with Wander Over Yonder, Gravity Falls, and Phineas and Ferb.

The Hub and Nickelodeon my favorites on TV channels. If the Hub aired Danny Phantom and Fairly Odd Parents, then the Hub would be my favorite channel. But I still haven't given up on my childhood favorite Nick, even though they do not air those two shows anymore. Cartoon Network's okay, but the focus too much on shows being cleverly random and humorous. I like shows with a solid plotline and characters, and CN doesn't really cut that.

The Hub is really going totally in the right direction. Great programming that is not only family friendly, but also fun and entertaining. Ponies aside, we have Littlest Pet Shop, Pound Puppies (with so many amazing guest appearances, George Takei anyone?), Super Hero Squad, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs (my childhood right there), and classic DC animated series like Batman, Superman, and Batman Beyond. And let us NOT forget The Aquabats Super Show! (a personal favorite as I know the band).

I feel they are really branching out to not only get the younger audience, but getting the whole family involved. Cartoons aside, we also get Lois And Clark, Happy Days, ALF, and plenty of other fun sitcoms from back in the day. Really, all they are really missing in my opinion is getting Full House.

I have noticed that Cartoon Network has steadily gone downhill after getting MAD and Annoying Orange. I still love watching Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Steven Universe, but many of the shows just seem like they exist to distract a child for thirty minutes for the parent's benefit (Uncle Grandpa, anyone?) Same for Nick. It had a great pantheon of shows in the 90s like All That, Rocko's Modern Life, KaBlam!, and others, now they only have two shows that have lasted more than three seasons, Fairly OddParents (still has great gems "You sound like a graham cracker!") and Spongebob (which I still catch one in a blue moon). But I feel both of these networks are on a downward spiral. As for Disney, they don't realize what they have with Wander Over Yonder and Gravity Falls. They have HUGE follows and fans of all ages, but they 'don't trust' the shows, and prefer to do their live-action shows like A.N.T. Farm, Dog With A Blog, or whatever they have now. And those shows seem to literally be thrown together the night before they are aired. Truth be told, I gave up on Disney long ago, but with Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, and Wander Over Yonder, I'm just praying they don't kill the shows like Fox did to Firefly.

To answer your question, I think The Hub might be just the network that becomes the new 'go to' channel.

Well the Hub does seem to have more variety then the other kids channels like the Spongebob Channel er I mean Nickelodeon. I like how they don't just show reruns of one show for hours but actually only give a show like maybe 2 reruns a day so more shows can be ran. I do like how they schedule by making the morning shows more geared to a younger audience and the prime time shows like old sitcoms. Their shows based off Hasbro franchises can be hit or miss (fim is good, LPS is okay) other shows range from okay to boring. I like how they rerun Tiny Toons and Animaniacs to. Oh and their bumpers are awesome. The characters interacting reminds me of watching Cartoon Network.

So the hub is an good channel. Too bad you need like a high paying cable service to get it, otherwise this channel would get even more popular.

The Hub has two really good original shows with MLP and Dan VS and a couple of good older shows and has a few decent movies. It is leagues above most networks but is far from being Cartoon Network or Nickleodeon in their prime but it is possible.

My only problem with the channel though is I feel they don't have that good of a movie variety. They will show a movie they already did last month and most of their movies are either squeals, or movies that aren't that known.
