  1. Why the heck would he hurt her? What did he mean when he said "You're going to give me what I want?" (That sentence sounded like sexual innuendo, to be honest.) And why didn't he just eat Twilight's magic rather than just killing her? Why did he want all the pony magic? He would be KILLING all the ponies. Tirek has to be THE CRUELEST villian from the show ever.
  2. I am just wondering. Why did Tirek destroy the library? Because he said Twilight wouldn't live in a library anymore I think it was intentional. And what did he mean by "You're going to give me what I want?"
  3. So they didn't cause the demon incident? Good thing, or else what my canon about the demon incident would have been ruined (An actual demon seeking power for her world turned Sunset into a demon that looked exactly like her). However, since the Dazzlings said they must use Equestrian magic to get power, Sunset may be forced to turn into a demon again by the Dazzlings. If the demon form doesn't appear in this movie, I guess she will show up in the third movie as well as Demon Snips and Snails and actually help Sunset Shimmer and friends this time!
  4. I didn't expect Sunset Shimmer to say "DEMON" in the clip! I thought Hasbro would call the "demon" something else! Also, I expected Sunset Shimmer to have the whiny voice from the "Something terrible has happened" scene for her good form, but her new voice is good. It sort of reminds me of Rainbow Dash, although Sunset is still voiced by Rebecca Shoichet! Also, this face Sunset made was funny: I also thought the Dazzlings were perverts because they kept touching everyone during the song!
  5. I had a theory about The Dazzlings that I posted on TV Tropes a while back that relates to the previous movie, but since it is a long explanation, I put it under a spoiler tag:
  6. I watched a few retro cartoons although I was a 2000's kid. I had a Garfield and Friends DVD when I was a third or fourth grader (and got the whole collection a few years ago), watched Wakko's Wish, Animaniacs, and Pinky and the Brain when I was around that age or older, watched a few episodes of Popples, and now my current favorite retro cartoon is Britt Allcroft's Magic Adventures of Mumfie. This series was created by Britt Allcroft, the creator of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, based off the works of Katharine Tozer. I MAY have watched this show on Fox Family when I was a baby, as when I watched the episodes on Hulu, some scenes in the episodes seemed familiar). The show follows a young elephant named Mumfie who thinks adventures come in parcels, but he discovers this isn't true, and sets off to find an adventure. This cartoon is about an elephant who was all alone and had no friends, so he set out to find an adventure. He wound up meeting Scarecrow and Pinkey the Flying Pig and went to an island to help the Queen of Night (voiced by Britt Allcroft herself, surprisingly) bring happiness back to her island that was taken over by the Secretary of Night. This story was told in a movie called "Mumfie's Quest." After the movie, two seasons of the show were made. Each episode is 10 minutes long, but the show aired in America as a twenty minute show with two stories and a Mumfie Melodies segment, which were AMV-like music videos of two songs from Mumfie's Quest. These were usually played in between stories. My favorite character is Bristle because he is so hilarious. He is a fat midget who mostly likes RUUEELS (how he pronounces rules, he also pronounces the "r" sound weirdly) and sometimes, he likes keeping everything clean and tidy. I also liked the Secretary of Night from Mumfie's Quest because he's mysterious and wants magical powers, but I want to know more about him, because the film never told us about him. (According to a poem about the Mumfie books, in the Katharine Tozer book, Mumfie's Magic Box, his goal is to invade the minds of dreamers, which is different from Mumfie's Quest.) Also, Pinkey the flying pig is ADORABLE! According to an article about a house Britt Allcroft renovated, she is currently working on new episodes of Mumfie! You can watch Mumfie on Netflix (only the first 26 episodes, the Christmas special and the movie), Hulu (has all the episodes, minus 4 missing ones and the episode version of Mumfie's Quest, the Christmas special and the movie), and Amazon Prime (same selection as Hulu).
  7. I don't know if Shock Treatment would count. I think some Rocky Horror fans hated it, but it was a good movie. (It's the only Rocky Horror movie I have seen since Shock Treatment is rated PG.) It has a 40% on Rotten Tomatoes.
  8. I can't wait for this movie! I love the Equestria Girls series! I also have a theory about Adagio Dazzle that I have shared on other sites:
  9. My last two were Heaven is for Real and Shock Treatment. Heaven is for Real: I thought this was a great movie and it made me believe that there really is a heaven by the end of it. However, the joke regarding the flight attendant believing that Barney was talking to her was funny but weird. Maybe she is one of the few who likes Barney because it makes her feel like a child and she must have had a rough or abusive childhood. Also, the "Can you sing 'We Will Rock You'?" part was funny. Shock Treatment: I watched this because I am very interested in seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but it is rated R. I might see it for my 16th birthday (which is coming soon) or get the DVD of it due to how inappropriate the show might be. Then again, I laugh at sex jokes and I have heard music with explicit content. This movie had a great story about a couple, Brad and Janet Majors going on a TV game show and Janet becoming famous in exchange for letting her husband be watched over by doctors who want him to stop being mentally insane. I really liked Janet's outfits when she was a famous TV star. Also, this part was funny: Betty: He went like one That hath been stunned And is of sense forlorn. A sadder and a wiser man He rose the morrow morn. Random man (holding dead bird): Does this bird belong to you? Betty: AAAAAAAAAHHH-(cuts to an alarm clock going off)
  10. I think Sunset will go to the pony world and tells Twilight that her friends need her help and Twilight must come to the human world, where she learns about the battle of the bands.
  11. I didn't choose my classes yet, but I know I will have two Regents classes next year-English and American History. If you don't live in New York, they are exams that test your knowledge of school subjects that you take in June. If you fail it in June, you must take it in August, and if you fail in August, you take it in January. I remember some things from my middle school social studies class, so I think I might ace the American History class, but I always get high grades. In English, I saw that other classes read things like Of Mice and Men, MacBeth, and The Great Gatsby (I saw the film without reading the book in ninth grade because many older kids were seeing it. It was great until the last 10 or so minutes... . That's why I don't always watch or read what the other kids read. However, I got upset by some PG-13 movies with scary or sad elements when I was in ninth grade, and I started to get used to scary and sad elements in PG-13 movies when I saw The Butler in August.)For Math, I am going to take Financial Math (it prepares us for life and college classes) because the other math courses are difficult (and according to looking on Yahoo Answers, Trignometry is the most failed Regents, but the Regents people say Global History is the most failed because it consists of remembering TWO YEARS of information, but I also had to take the Regents Algebra class for two years, rather than 1 year like one of my friends did). In Science, I already took all the necessary Regents classes (Earth Science and Biology), and we have choices as to what science classes we can take. We can take Physics, but that class is VERY DIFFICULT! The other choices consist of Astronomy (in two parts), Human Anatomy and Physiology, Marine Science, Natural Disasters, and Forensics (in two parts). I am going to be taking both parts of Astronomy. As for my electives, I will be certainly doing the Early Childhood Education class at my school. (I love little kids! They are so cute! ) The second elective I will take is the Health class (We must take it to graduate. (When I took it in middle school, I got nauseous whenever they talked about the bad side effects of drugs or something like that because I think my body was telling me not to do drugs. Oh, and I also was pulled out of class during the SEX unit, although I handled the reproduction unit well in Biology.) We also get to take home a robotic baby in that class (I see students walking around with these when the Health classes do the unit with the robotic baby, and you can also do the robotic baby in the Parenting class). I might take this class that will help me prepare for college and find other jobs, as well as a computer skills class.
  12. It was a bit hard when I was in ninth grade, but now, in tenth grade, it seems easier. I only hate the annoying boys in my classes...
  13. Granted, but the PS3 can't play any games because you brought a CHEAP FAKE. I wish that Sunset Shimmer didn't appear in Rainbow Rocks...
  14. Besides Fox News, the only other person in the media who I know that hates bronies is Ghost! I heard one of his rants in an opening to YouTube Poop News: "GOOD MORNING ALL YOU F***ING BRONIES OUT THERE, WATCHING THE D**N SHOW, AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA GET UPSET ABOUT ME BEING A F***ING RACIST, WHEN I'M SO F***ING NOT! IF YOU F***ING RACIST HAMBONE TROLLS DON'T STOP IT RIGHT NOW, I'M GONNA START SPAMMING MY WASTEPILES AT YOU! AAAAAAAAH...I HATE BRONIES! I'M SO NOT FEEDING THE G*****N TROLLS!" Plus, like the story of that boy who nearly died because of suicide because he was bullied for liking the show, some people call the show gay, when it really isn't. Why do people do that??? Is it because of Rainbow Dash (BTW, a rainbow symbolizes gays)?
  15. You win a dancing Boneless. (I'm sorry for overusing this joke, it's funny) -Inserts the live action Gummy-
  16. Banned because she posted in this thread twice and because she was a spy for stealing a jewel with magical powers.
  17. My brother recommended that I should see this on Friday, and I wound up seeing it on Saturday afternoon. It was AWESOME!
  18. Britt Allcroft's (She is the creator of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends) The Magic Adventures of Mumfie. These were usually played in between stories. My favorite character is Bristle because he is so hilarious. He mostly likes RUUEELS (how he pronounces rules) and sometimes, he likes keeping everything clean and tidy. Here is a funny moment of Bristle's from "All Work and No Play". Mumfie has just finished doing Bristle's job for him (he wanted a job in the episode like how his friend Scarecrow has a job by scaring crows for the farmer) and Bristle notices Mumfie did something wrong: Bristle: Ah-ha! (points to picture of The Queen of Night) You've made a mistake! You didn't straighten the Queen's picture! Mumfie: I know, I- Bristle: That's alright, Mumfie! Everyone makes mistakes! (laughs) Except for me, of course! Mumfie: Pardon me, Bristle, but I think there is a rule that says to leave all royal pictures as they were found. Bristle: Oh no, no such RUUEEL exists! Mumfie: Perhaps you forgot about it? Bristle: (sounding a bit angred) Ha! Impossible! Mumfie: I think it's on page 555 and-(Bristle angrily snatches the book from Mumfie) Is there anymore I can do to help? Bristle: No, that will be all, you've done quite enough. Thank you for your assistance...My goodness! Mumfie: What's wrong? Bristle: (Tugging his shirt) What's wrong is that you're right. (clears throat) Now, go and play, isn't that what you like to do best? I also like this conversation from the exact same episode the "Bristle forgets about a rule" scene came from. The Queen of Night sometimes teaches great lessons to Mumfie and his friends, and this conversations shows us one of them. Queen of Night: Your job is to be a kind and loyal friend who helps people in their time of need. Mumfie: That's a job? Queen of Night: It most certainly is. One of the most important jobs of all. Mumfie: It doesn't feel like a job. Queen of Night: On this day alone, you've been a good friend by helping out Scarecrow, Pinkey, Fifi, Davy Jones, and Bristle. Mumfie: I have! You're right, Your Majesty! Queen of Night: Sometimes, being a friend can be a full time occupation. You can watch Magic Adventures of Mumfie on Hulu Plus. You can also find the movie, Mumfie's Quest on there. I recommend that you watch the film first before you watch the show. Episodes I recommend: Orders are Orders (Listed as Orders is Orders, this is a Bristle episode and is really funny. Any episode with him is guaranteed to have him say or do something hilarious.) Scarecrowella Reigning Cats and Dogs French Lessons Bristle's Blues Bristle's Holiday Mind Over Manners Time Waits for No Mumfie A Fishy Tale The Amazing Scarecrow The Guest Mumfie's Lost Button (I'm warning you, this episode seems like it was made on drugs by having ridiculous things happen during it.) Upside-Down Magic Things That Go Bump Scarecrow's Birthday Surprise The Sad Cloud Pinkey's First Winter Mumfie and the Well-Wisher Napoleon Moves In Making a Stand Pretty as a Picture A Royal Mis-Understanding Mumfie Can't Say No The Whole Tooth All Work and No Play The Black Cat Dissapears
  19. I saw The LEGO Movie because someone recommended me to see it. I thought it'd be good, and it was AWESOME! What really surprised me was when I am planning on seeing Barbie and the Pearl Princess next weekend and/OR The Nut Job the weekend after that. I just want to see the Barbie movie because it looks a bit interesting with its' version of The Little Mermaid fairytale. As for The Nut Job, I read several bad reviews where people said it was awful. Plus, why would you spoil in a promotional news article released WEEKS before the movie that The movie also looks like a rip off of Ratatouille with one character looking like Remy and the film having animals stealing food from humans like the first half of that movie. I might also see Mr. Peabody and Sherman, which reminded me of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (the first movie I saw in a theater), except with the dog as the inventor. It turns out this movie was based on an old cartoon from Rocky and Bullwinkle. This movie also has the same people who did The Lion King behind it, which makes me think that this movie will be awesome!
  20. Yaaaay! I can't wait for this film! And what's better, Sunset will be in it! (A toy design for her was revealed) The first movie may have solved my problems that I had at school by me wanting to be the center of attention like Sunset did (I always wanted people to help me do my work and I always wanted to win things). I hope Sunset isn't just reduced to a cameo. As for the books being out before the film, a few junior novelizations of films get released before the movie actually comes out, and maybe Hasbro wanted to earn more money by doing the same thing as the other companies who published movie novelizations. 21. I can't wait for the new movie. I think Shifting Sunset will be Sunset's musical idol alter ego who can transform into two basic forms: her normal form and her demon form. Each form has two outfits, for a total of four transformations. I was thinking of something like Happiness Charge Pretty Cure or Aikatsu.
  22. Okay...here I go... The Wind Rises-If it comes out near me I am going to see it. I like anime movies. Mockingjay Part 1-I finished the second Hunger Games book but haven't seen the movie yet. I might watch it when it comes out on Netflix and watch the theatrical re-release when Mockingjay Part 1 comes out. I will read Mockingjay over the summer or at the start of the school year if I have time. Into the Woods-I like musical movies, and I wanted to see if Disney bowderlized this movie. Jersey Boys-I wanted to see this movie because I never saw the musical and I like musical movies. The Rocky Horror Picture Show-I am a Rocky Horror virgin and never saw the whole movie on video or in a theater (a local theater near me does play the film every month), but I do know the movie's plot, and I saw snippets of shadowcasts preforming the movie on YouTube, even a clip of one Shadowcast preforming a scene I worried about. I didn't see the movie yet because it's rated R, but some people say that 16 year olds can watch it with no problems, so my Sweet 16 might have a Rocky Horror theme (my twin sister thinks the movie is "gay" and would rather have a Cinderella theme since we will go to Walt Disney World for my Sweet 16, so I think I might have to split up the trip into both Universal Studios and Disney.) or I might go to CityWalk in Orlando to see a Rocky Horror screening and dress up like Columbia. Or, worst case scenario, I might get the DVD as a present, since seeing it with audience participation is REALLY INAPPROPRIATE (They even lampshaded this in the SNL parody "Tim and Meat's One Stop Rocky Horror Shop" by claiming they couldn't say some audience participation lines that were in a book on TV.). If this is the case, I will see it in the theater when I am 17 if my parents deny my request to see the film. However, the first R rated movie I saw was Outbreak, and that was at my school, and we were not given permission slips. When looking up Catching Fire showtimes, I noticed one of my local movie theaters is doing something interesting: They are showing classic movies at 2:00PM every Sunday and at 2:00PM and 7:00PM every Wednesday. An AMC theater near me did something similar with classic Christmas movies, although I didn't go to those films since the theater was too far. They had a listing for Big, but I didn't care about that. The next movies are going to be The Princess Bride, Fast Times at Ridgemont High (I might not see this, since it is rated R...and I wanted my first rated R movie in a theater to be The Rocky Horror Picture Show. ), Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Groundhog Day, and Sleepless in Seattle. I will try to see some of those classic movies. Welcome to the Space Show (If it gets a theatrical release in NYC again or it gets released into the independent cinema nearby me like From Up on Poppy Hill did) Any Disney Second Screen Live events (I am lucky that I lived near one of the theaters showing the previous two Second Screen Live events, The Little Mermaid and Nightmare Before Christmas. Basically, you take your iPad to the theater and interact with the film with games and sing alongs. It was fun!) Mr. Peabody and Sherman-Oh, so someone who worked on The Lion King made a rip-off of Jimmy Neutron based on an old cartoon...interesting. Bears-Okay, I am seeing this because it was a bit interesting and it is 40 minutes long. I, Frankenstein-This looks AWESOME! Godzilla Muppets Most Wanted Annie Planes: Fire and Rescue Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-I heard that this is Nickelodeon's take on Transformers and other action movies based on 80's properties... The LEGO Movie-I might see this... Rio 2-I loved the first one when I saw it as part of a summer movie program. Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return Maleficent Step Up: All In-I like musical movies but never saw the other Step Up films.
  23. The last two movies I watched were The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Puella Magi Madoka Magica -Rebellion- (I'd like to call it Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Spells of Rebellion) Here are my thoughts on each one (My experience has no spoilers, but my thoughts on the actual movie are in spoilers) The Secret Life of Walter Mitty When me and my sister saw this, one of my cousins and her friends from school showed up at the showtime we saw this movie at. We even said next to them. The last movie I saw them at was The Butler, although they went to the upstairs theater at the cinema showing The Butler (I think they saw Elysium, which was rated R, but these girls are middle schoolers. I didn't even see their parents...or maybe they were in the theater.) The main problem I have with this film is that little kids in my area keep on seeing this film because it is rated PG like many family and animated films in the recent years. I even saw two children about 8-9 years old at my showing, and a few days later, a little girl whom must have been no older than 4, went to see the film because she parked in the parking lot and was watching Toy Story 3 on the way there. By the way, the scary things in Walter Mitty are WORSE than the scary things in the movie the girl watched on the way there...and later in the day, a 5 year old and his 10 year old brother saw a later showing. Keep in mind that the next showing of a kids' movie in both cases was about 2-3 hours away. Four other PG movies which were meant for older audiences but still got PG ratings were Love Labour's Lost, Big Miracle, We Bought a Zoo (which I didn't see that many kids at, because a lot of kids wanted to see Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, which we saw before we went back to school from winter break), and the Clannad movie, which my dad saw a little girl and her father watching, possibly because they thought "if it's animated and rated PG, it's for kids". (By the way, I did buy the Clannad movie so I could watch it on a car ride to Lancaster, PA for Easter vacation.) If this movie is one of the movies at Regal Cinema's Summer Movie Express, I'm going to laugh if me and my sister are the only ones in the theater while most of the other kids are seeing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 or whatever movie they pair with it. (They usually play two movies that are rated either PG or G on Tuesdays and Wednesdays over the summer, and Walter Mitty might be a candidate for this program.) Puella Magi Madoka Magica -Rebellion- I have been waiting for this movie for a year, and I finally got to see it. They gave out signboards for this movie at every screening of the film, and i thought I wouldn't get one, but I did. I luckily got the Nagisa Momoe and Mami Tomoe one, which most people at my showing got. I even helped out someone who got the board by telling who the new character was.
