I forgot to mention some other kids shows I liked from HBO Family. A Little Curious-This series is about personified household objects that teach little kids about different things. Each episode has 3 themes, and some episodes are about characters (like the one I am watching now, it's about my favorite character, Mop). It also uses various animation styles for it's segments. I get the West channel although I am in the East Coast, so I usually watch it on that. George and Martha-This animated series is about two hippos who are best friends and go on many adventures. It stars Nathan Lane as George. Storybook Musicals-I've only seen the Alexander and the No Good, Terrible, Very Bad Day one. This series takes famous stories and turns them into musicals.

I chose this avatar because I love demon Sunset Shimmer so much! I wish she and the demon versions of Snips and Snails were real!

I would like to go to any place from Pretty Cure, mostly Marchenland from Smile Pretty Cure! I also want to go to Canterlot High to meet Sunset Shimmer, and the both of us will find Demon Sunset Shimmer and her demon servants, Snips and Snails. Finally, I want to go to Mitakihara City from Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Daten City from Panty and Stocking.

One year, I brought a cheap Nendoroid of Misa (the blonde haired girl) from Death Note. (I didn't even watch Death Note, I like anime and just wanted a Nendoroid.) It turned out to be a bootleg, and I never played with it because it was fake. I wound up throwing it into the trash eventually. This year (not for Christmas), I got my first real Nendoroids, Stardust Witch Meruru from Oreimo and Ultimate Madoka, from AmiAmi, a reliable site which sells official stuff. I got Ultimate Madoka because I saw her at Kinokuniya and she was about $50 (Kinokuniya has a lot of overpriced stuff. I think they had a wallet or luggage tag of Charlotte from Madoka that was $15 dollars.) However, I only payed about $30 for my Nendoroids on AmiAmi. Moral of the story: Do not buy cheap Nendoroids from America or Hong Kong.

Daisy from Toy Story 3.

Magical DoReMi, the English dub of Ojamajo DoReMi's first season. It was a show about a girl named Doremi (Dorie) who stumbles upon a magic shop and finds out the owner is a witch, turning her into a green blob. In order to turn her back, Doremi has to become an apprentice witch and take 9 tests to become a real witch. Her friends Hazuki (Reanne) and Aiko (Mirabelle) also become apprentice witches, as well as a child idol named Onpu (Ellie) and Doremi's little sister, Poppu (Caitlyn). 4Kids dubbed all of the episodes of the first season, but only the first 26 aired on TV, the rest aired online. Timon and Pumbaa is also a good example. Not that many people remember it...It was a funny show! Disney Junior treated the show horribly when they re-ran it by only playing 13 episodes of the series and airing it in the middle of the night before canceling it, thank God. The series also had some movies that were compilations of episodes of the show released in the UK and some other countries only... But at least someone put the movies online.

I liked Rugrats, The Book of Pooh, Bear in the Big Blue House, Dora the Explorer, and Blues Clues when I was younger. In 3rd grade, I liked Garfield and Friends (only the Garfield segments, I had NO IDEA what U.S. Acres was until I was older. I only could afford the "Garfield and Friends: Behind the Scenes" DVD. I also liked Veggietales because of the Jonah: A Veggietales Movie VHS we got. Every Saturday morning, I would watch Veggietales on qubo! I remember the show would start with a Blinds to Go ad, and then came the theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBMNCnULcts I remembered the series' first episode was The Asparagus of La Mancha (which originally came from Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler) and didn't care much for the most of the cuts, but there was one infamous cut on LarryBoy and the Fib from Outer Space (my favorite Veggietales episode) which made a plot hole. In the uncut version, LarryBoy says that he doesn't want to look for aliens because he is tired, hungry, needs to go to the bathroom, and wearing the suit bothered him very much, so that's why he was going home. The qubo version just cuts out the reason LarryBoy went home and skips to Alfred saying "But the security of Bumblyburg rests in your..." and the screen in the LarryMobile cuts to static, and LarryBoy claiming that there are no aliens in Bumblyburg. I also liked 321 Penguins and The Cartoon Adventures of LarryBoy, which were created by the same company who did Veggietales and those shows also aired on qubo. Another show I liked was Mr. Meaty, a puppet show about 2 guys who worked at a fast food restaurant and had crazy adventures. One episode had one of the boys turning into a unicorn, and a little girl sat on the unicorn and it farted, causing the girl to cry and the mother taking her off the unicorn. I also liked Edgar and Ellen, which I think was a Halloween special on Nicktoons. Target sold merchandise of that series around Halloween, including pencils and a gummy frog you could dissect.

DokiDoki! Pretty Cure

Here are some unknown kids shows that I like. Minky Momo-This anime has been done 2 times, in 1982 and 1991. This show is about a fairy tale world either in space (original 1982 series) or under the sea (1991) that is about to vanish. In order to prevent this from happening, the king and queen of the kingdom send their daughter, Minky Momo, to go to the human world to help other people by transforming into an adult. The only English dub that exists is by Harmony Gold (their dub of the 1982 series only aired in Australia), and in the USA, we only got the "La Ronde in my Dream" OVA dub that was done by them, titled "The Magical Princess Gigi". Crash and Bernstein-This show is about a boy named Wyatt Bernstein, who lives with 3 sisters and his mother (they never say what happened to the dad) in an apartment in Portland, Oregon. On his birthday, Wyatt's sisters take him to the Build a Bestie store, where Wyatt wishes that he had a brother who would do boy things with him. When he brings the Bestie doll named "Crash" home, it comes to life. This show is REALLY HILARIOUS! My favorite episodes had to be the comic book one, the one where Crash and Wyatt try to face their fears, and the one where Crash falls in love with a puppet named Lola. DokiDoki! Pretty Cure-This anime is the 10th installment of the Pretty Cure series in Japan. This series is about a kingdom called The Trump Kingdom, which got destroyed by the Selfish Trio. Makoto Kenzaki (Cure Sword) was the last warrior the Trump Kingdom had, and went to Japan to look for the princess, Marie Ange. In the human world, three other girls, Mana Aida (Cure Heart), Rikka Hishikawa (Cure Diamond), and Alice Yotsuba (Cure Rosetta) became Pretty Cures and befriended Cure Sword. Just recently in the series, a girl named Aguri Madoka joined the team as Cure Ace. Together, the girls fight to save the Trump Kingdom.

I've only watched Smile Pretty Cure! in it's entirety. It was the second best Pretty Cure series I've ever seen (The best so far being DokiDoki! Pretty Cure, which will end in February).

The first one I like is We Belong Together from Toy Story 3. The second one I like is the opening to Pretty Cure All Stars New Stage (the only Pretty Cure movie I watched entirely, but my sister sat next to me on a plane ride from California and watched the Suite Pretty Cure movie on a DVD she got at a Japanese supermarket. She also got me New Stage on DVD as well, but we only got to watch the first 20 or so minutes of it on the plane ride)

For some stupid reason, these commercials scared me as a kid due to the puppet, but when I saw the "Please Don't Go" Pets.com ad, I was no longer scared of them. i saw this ad on an ad break on YouTube for a Strawberry Shortcake special from the 80's when I was younger (I liked looking at YouTube videos of retro things). It creeped me out a bit... This is not an ad, but it appeared at the beginning of several UK VHS tapes (I watched these kinds of videos on YouTube when I was older.) and I once had a nightmare that ended with the exact audio of this video when I put in a Pokemon VHS I made into some machine. I thought it was a great movie, although it felt like it only lasted an hour. It also had a great message: "Don't give up, even if you feel like things are too difficult." The visuals were stunning, even in 3D, but like most 3D movies, there weren't many 3D effects.

I've only seen clips of these movies (The Snow White clip from the first, as well as the Looney Tunes opening sequence, both "Gremlins ruin the movie halfway through" sequences, and the New York, New York scene from the second film), but I do have the DVD of the first one. My sister had a Gizmo plushie, but I think the head fell off. Shrek has a few dirty jokes in it. For example, in the Duloc song, one line goes "Please keep off of the grass, shine your shoes, wipe your...(pause) FACE!" and in the Robin Hood song, there is a line that goes "I like an honest fight and a saucy little maid/what he's basically saying is that he likes to get...PAID!" Don't forget "NICE ASCOT!" from Toy Story 3! Here's another naughty moment from that show.
