Have not watched it yet. I do happen to know Capaldi is SUPPOSED TO BE a darker doctor. So I'm expecting a blast.

Though I'm excited to see what Capaldi will do, I do still miss Matt Smith now. It was kind of a weak send-off for him as well. He deserved a bit better than that.

Okay.. I'm back. That was pretty damn tear jerking ;_; But Peter looks like he's gonna be a good doctor and I can't wait to see what he has in store for us! I'm gonna miss Matt though.. But oh well.

Truth be told, I didn't like the episode at all. It felt too chaotic and uncoordinated, like it didn't know what emotions it was trying to convey so it just went for all of them at once. Not to mention that the "jokes" all felt flat and forced along with so many other problems I could spend paragraphs complaining about. As far as send-offs go, this was a catastrophe that felt more like it was making fun of Matt Smith rather than celebrating him.

I liked the episode, I'm going to miss Matt though. I guess we have to move on.

There was a Doctor Who Christmas special??   I have to watch it tonight can't believe I missed out on something like this  .... I bet it is going to be awesome though.

As of not reaching Matt Smith episodes yet (three more with David Tennant) I really didn't know what to think. It seemed different from the other Christmas specials I saw. Plus that whole reset before the actual regeneration was a bit much.
