Basically I was just bored when I made this. This is actually my very first time shading in a drawing with pencil.

 

I'd say it went well. Also, changed the head shape for my style just a little bit as well as the ears. I like it better this way.

Nicely done.  I like the shading, the attention to detail, and Twilight's attitude. 

 

I know she wants to live as a "normal" pony but I would've expected unwanted attention due to her being an alicorn.

I would blame the eye lashes on Rarity and her secret mascara stash, but I'm afraid we all found out she's some weirdo pony who doesn't have any real eye lashes on the train episode therefor she has no secret mascara stash.

 

I think dramatic huge eye lashes make Twilight look empowered, like a drag queen.
