What's with BronyCON being so far away?

I know it changes places and some people on here might live close to it, but I'm just wondering

 

For a couple years if I am correct it's been in New York, now it's Baltimore.

 

I'm not trying to sound picky, but I'm not dragging my ass all the way to Baltimore just for one BronyCON, it's just to much money and it's to far.. I just wish it was closer :/

You don't exactly have to go to BronyCON, sadly when you wish it was closer there is always a new location where the convention is held.

I suppose they chose Baltimore because the place they rented out there is very spacious and has worked well for them so far. A lot of Bronies are also on the east coast. Also remember that it will always be far away from some people no matter where they put it.

BronyCON is always on the East Coast, most likely because there are a lot of Bronies there. But that's why other Cons were created. Like EverfreeNW for those of us on the West Coast or BronyCAN for the Canadians. There are many brony cons that are closer to where you live than the actual "BronyCON" (depending on where you live), you just have to look.
