People literally looked down on me for not even caring about drinking and for choosing to stay at home and do nothing on my birthday. It was at this point that I stopped caring about what was "socially acceptable." Not that I cared before but now I straight up will defy it because if that's what's socially acceptable, to the point of hazing out people who don't partake in it, then I want nothing to do with what society deems acceptable. Good going. I don't touch the stuff, either, considering it reminds me of menthol...blerg! It's tough, too, because so many people (at least in music) won't want to do business with you if you don't drink. Reminds me of a comic I saw once where it pointed out that a raving lunatic covered in team colors face paint is acceptable but the calm and demure (Though sometimes weird and possibly very obnoxious) nerds like trekkies is looked down upon. Like I said in my original post: I outright defy what is deemed socially acceptable when it contradicts things I do normally because it only causes arguments, headaches and generally makes society look differently. When that show was on TV and I wanted to watch it especially when I was upset and got told that a lot...By someone who was supposed to be comforting me after my hamster died. My supposed BFF who was actually more so trying to break me. My Little Pony....Unwind...Everlost...Yaoi...Discovery Health Channel...Suite life...anime Yeah no one ever has good responses to that stuff then people start getting their heads out of their asses and start crawling back asking me if I recall this or know about that or watch that still.
